Umaro is a sasquatch who lives in the caves of Narshe. Somehow or rather, he is a subordinate of Mog. Their actual relationship is unknown, perhaps the share some common ancestral lines..... I really don't know.
Anyway, Umaro does what wants. You can't control him at all when the party is engaged in combat, very much like an NPC. But if you equip him with the Blizzard Orb, he can conjure up an ice storm. If equipped with the Rage Ring he can pick up another character and throw them at the enemy for a lot of damage. Very useful technique!

Umaro has two special skills which is acquired if he is equipped with the Blizzard Orb and the Rage Ring. The Blizzard Orb will give Umaro the Storm ability while the Rage Ring will confer the Rage ability. Two very useful skills particularly in the Fanatic's Tower.
