There Once was a Bard Named Frances Goodfellow
Although He was Truely a really fine Musician
His thoughts about Marriage were Often quite Shallow
Here is the Story of How the Bard made his Great Decision!
It Twas one sunny Ducal Tourney Day
That the Baron and His Two Lovely Daughters Did play
Arm in arm they did stroll, to the top of the knoll,
Where the Bard Francis did play.
The Daughters, With Their Fathers Ramblings were bored
And Gave their excuses, saying we want our Rewards!
The Baron just nodded, and gave them some cash
And the two girls smiled and were off in a dash!
Now the Captain exclaimed! My Lord Baron Please!
Do Not let Your Fair Daughters Go unescorted
There Are too many fellows that would fall on their Knees
The Girls Disappeard in the Crowd
Lured by the sounds they followed the music
Of this Handsome Bard
They looked at each other and smiled
Thinking he could do no wrong the Bard Began to Use his charms
Till the Baron's Guards sounded the alarm! To Arms!
Well Francis with two Lovely Ladies were doing No Harm!
Well to the Baron the trio was taken!
The Girls they were sobbing and crying
Poor Francis was really shaken
Thinking,Oh boy!..I may soon be dying!
The Captain told His Story, oh brother!
The Old Baron said with dread,
You'll be married to one or the other
Or loose that pretty handsome Head!
Francis Laughed, You have got to be kidding!
These two are no great prize!
Besides Im in love with Lady Jasmine
And these two are.....
The Baron pointed to the Guards
Oh, yes you will! And I insist!
Now what tale were you about to give?
Photos Still to be Placed in the Story!
