Origin: A huge fan of the Original Flash, (Jay Garrick) Barry Allen was never on time. One day while working in his lab, a bolt of lightning struck a rack of chemicals in front of him. The chemicals hypercharged his metobolic system and gave him the ability to run at superspeeds. After he was aquited on murder charges (Don't even ask) Barry went to the future to be with his wife, Iris Allen West. While there he fought a foe called the Anti-Monitor. Barrys body was essential to keep the Anti-Monitor's time machine running. Barry escaped and entered the Anti-Monitor's cannon and ran fast enough to destroy it, he killed himself in the process. When Barry destroyed the Anti-Monitor's cannon, The Anti-Monitor stood no chance against the combined might of the Earths Mightiest heroes.
