More about Drigetti

So, you want to know more about the Drigus. The first thing to remember is that the proper plural of Drigus is Drigetti. Drigetti are very sensitive about this point, so remember it.

Drigetti seem to be a mix between tigers, dragons, and horses. I'm not sure quite how this happened, but I think it has something to do with magic. Drigetti are moody creatures, and tend to be territorial. They are all omnivores, but usually prefere meat. Drigetti spend most of their time on the ground, but they do have wings, and will often hunt from the air. They have excellent vision, and they are able to breath fire.

While most Drigetti show the influence of all three animals that went into their making, individuals tend to show the influence of one animal more than the others. Drigetti do have some traits that are more likely to show up than others. Any particular Drigus trait can be either recessive, dominante, or superdominant (meaning that it will "hide" even dominant genes). Some drigetti traits have a super-recessive option as well. If you're still interested, visit the Drigus Genetics Page.

Most of the herd presently available for breeding in our adoption program have a lot of hidden recessive genes. For this reason, when you choose on the adoption form which mare to use, you are choosing not what your drigus WILL look like, but what the POSSIBILITIES are.

Drigetti go through four major stages in their development towards adulthood. These stages are egg, hatchling, youth, and adult.

That's all the information I have on drigetti right now!
