The Drive Home

Skinner carefully got into the back seat of the car, feeling the effects of

the fight with a couple suspect trying to flee the inevitable outcome of a

major FBI trap. The wheelchair ride from the hospital to the parking lot

had already been an affront to his dignity, so luckily his lovers had the

common sense not to try and help him inside. Shit, he hated being a

burden, relying on others, even them.

He heard the muffled sound of a rather heated discussion between them.

Then more clearly he heard from Mulder, "Heads or Tails? Winner gets to

sit in the back and cuddle him while loser has to drive"
