At first reluctant to involve himself he refuses a formal commission in the Rebel Forces
until after his rescue from Jabba when he accepts a general's rank and command of the sabotage
mission to Endor.

One of the Jedi Temple children, Han is only six at the time of the Purge. Rescued with the
others he is taken by Hamilcar Solo and his new Apprentice Dai-Men Jinn to a Gathering of
the Space Gypsies where he is adopted by the Black Nebula Ship/Clan. Ran away at twelve and
made his way to Corellia where he entered one of their famous Merchant Academies.
His skill as a pilot and tactician won him entrance to the Imperial Academy
