• The Kayless’ universe is a parallel universe from the Slayers universe.
• It is a universe L-chan uses to compare; a universe where she doesn’t interfere at all to keep balance between  ‘good’ and ‘evil’.
• The Mazoku seek destruction, though their nature is different. They don’t want total destruction at once, it is more fun to do it slowly ^_^.
• Many of the high-ranking Mazoku’s general and priests got killed in the II Mazoku War and had to be replaced with others, due to Shabby’ urgings. He didn’t want the same idiots hanging around.
• Lei-Shabranigdu collected and assimilated 5 other pieces of himself, to eliminate competition. One of Shabby’s pieces remains unaccounted for.
• One of the four pieces, which Cephied left behind before sinking into the Sea of Chaos, was killed during a fight with Lei-Shabranidgu. But none, besides Lei and the Knights themselves, knows for sure which of the pieces it actually was.
• The remaining pieces of Cephied fussed themselves into one.
• After Phibrizio freed Shabranigdu inside the seal in Lei’s body only Shabby’s personality remained. Lei Magnus was spiritually totally destroyed which plunged Xellas Metallium into great depressions.
• Xellos befriended himself with Luna Inverse, when she was still a little child. The Beastmaster didn’t interfere with their friendship since by the time she was in a hate rush over the loss if her lover Lei. She did tell Xellos to keep it a secret.
• There were five other Knights of Cephied before Luna. The title is always give to the oldest daughter of the last Knight. Each of the Knights has to have at least a duty time for a thousand years if she is not killed in the meantime, this time period may be prolonged if there is no other suitable candidate for the job.
• In this universe, the high ranked Mazoku can be both general and priest of their respective lords if they see it fit. Examples of this are Xellos Metallium and Kaana.
