Chapter 4: Oh, that!!

Valgarv walked through a long corridor. He was on his way to one of the rooms he usually used when he didn't want to be disturbed by anyone that was lower ranked than him. Luckily Mia had been called to go to do some business for Garv-sama.

He sighed. That girl is really possessive, she had been clinging to him the whole day. He hoped that she would stay occupied for some time with whatever she had to do. If he was lucky she would get a boyfriend someday, so he would have some peace and especially *privacy*. On the other hand, she was Garv-sama's general and the only men that could be considered suitable boyfriends were himself, Xellos, and Dalphin's general and priest, Agaroth and Genvan... scary...

He stopped in front of a door, opened it and walked inside. This was one of his favorite chambers. A seat was near the window, a round table with some drinks and books in the middle of the room, two closets were on the other side of the window and one of Mia's weird self-portrays she had placed for some, to him unknown reason, in all the rooms he liked.

He walked toward the seat near the window and relaxed his body as he sat down.

Finally some privacy... he thought looking out of the window.

Suddenly the door swung open and his body immediately stiffened again.

Please don't let it be Mia, please don't let i - "Oh, it's only you Sherra" he said relieved as the blue haired woman walked in pulling an unknown girl on a leash behind her. The girl didn't look to well, for instance Sherra was almost dragging her because her feet didn't seem to be able to hold her entire weight. She had some burning marks on her arms and her legs and a cut wound on her cheek.

"What do you mean only ME?" asked Sherra not sounding very happy and putting her hands on her hips.

"I thought it was Mia." said Valgarv relaxing again.

"MIA!! How could you mistake me for that annoying, stupid little brat??" now she was getting angry...

"Com' on now Sherra! Don't you start! She has been clinging to me the whole day!" he said annoyed.

"Oh! My poor, poor Val." she said softly , her hands no longer on her hips, but Val could hear the sarcasm in her voice.

"Very funny." he turned to look at the girl Sherra had brought with her, "And who or what is that?"

"This is my new toy."

"I'm no ones toy - Ugh!" Amelia started to say, but got silenced by Sherra who pulled strongly at her leash making her fall hard on the ground. The girl’s voice had not been more than a whisper. Her lips were starting to get a healthier red tone in contrast to the blue one they had when she arrived, Sherra must have kept her in the cold for a while.

"Shut up!" said the general pulling Amelia up. Amelia breathed hard as she hung in the air, trying to pull with her hands at the golden ring around her neck which was cutting of her air.

"If I want you to talk, I'll make you talk! Understand that?" said Sherra angrily.

Amelia couldn't breath, her eyes were closed. She was holding back tears. There was no way she would cry in front of Sherra that would be humiliating so she simply nodded.

"Good!" said Sherra letting her fall again as she let go of her leash and making sure with her sword her 'toy' couldn't get away.

Amelia breathed in. Air... was all that came her to mind. Still lying on the floor she looked up with a killing glance to see Sherra walk over to Valgarv and place herself on his lap.

"You seem to be a little tense." stated Sherra as she let her arm go around Val's neck.

"After the day I had, what would you expect?"

"I could help you relax..." she said smiling, nearing her face to his, but stopped as she heard a male voice behind her.

"Tst, tst, tst. And in front of an audience... who would have thought?"

"Xellos! What the heck are you doing here?" asked Sherra not very pleased someone had interrupted her when it had started to get interesting. This was the second time in one day this happened, she was starting to feel the urge to kill someone.

'Xellos'? Amelia knew she had heard that name before.

Amelia saw a purple haired man floating above the table in the room. He then sat down on it, leaning against a weird looking staff as he crossed his legs. His hair was long and fell to his shoulders.

"I only wanted to visit you folks. Is that a crime?" he asked smiling at them.

"You never do something without a good reason, so... what do you want?" asked Valgarv irritated.

"My, my, my! Don't be so rude"

"Xellos!!" Sherra was starting to get inpatient.

"Okay, okay!" he said and then pointing with his staff at Amelia he continued: "I came to see your new toy."

Sherra looked at Xellos startled, "My toy?... How do y - .... no wait, don't tell me. Genvan told Agaroth and that big mouthed general told you, right?"

"Oh, my!" he clapped his hands together, "You are good at those little riddle-guessing games." he said , his usual smile on his face.

Sherra ignored his comment.

"If that is all you came for, you can go now." said Val putting an arm around Sherra's waist.

"Oh! Did I disturb you two in something when I appeared here?"

Now it was Valgarv who was about to loose his patience, "I'm telling you to leave once more if you don't want me to-"

"To what?" Xellos opened his eyes and Amelia could see their amethyst color. His smile had disappeared from his face and had been replaced by a dangerous looking expression. .

"Com' on Valgarv, you surely are not thinking about starting a fight with me, are you?" asked the trickster priest.

Valgarv was about to get up.

"Calm down you two!" Sherra told them pushing Val back into the seat as she felt both their auras getting ready to attack each other and to destroy the opponent. She turned around, her attention back at Xellos and asked: "What else do you want?"

He closed his eyes again, his smile returning as he said: "I want your toy."

"Her?" she asked, her voice and her face showing surprise.

Xellos noticed the girl's anger rise as she was referred to by the term 'toy'. If looks could kill... thought the trickster. He understood now why Sherra had picked her, the girl had a temper... Then his thoughts returned to more important things.

"What do you want her for?" Sherra asked the same moment Val had been about to do.

"Naa..." Xellos wiggled his finger, "That's a secret."

The truth was he hadn't thought of any explanation, but when did he ever explain exactly what he did or wanted?

They were all looking at him. Finally Sherra understood what Xellos wanted her 'toy' for.

"OH! You want her for that!!" she said smiling brightly.

It seemed that the other two had the same in mind that Sherra because Amelia suddenly turned pale as if she had just seen a ghost or something like that.

"No way!! I'm not going to - " Amelia started to say, but was silenced by one of Sherra's fireballs landing in front of her.

Valgarv and Sherra stood up from the seat and walked towards Xellos who had no idea what they were referring to.

"And I thought he was gay..." said Val.

Sherra chuckled at this and Xellos just stared at him with his eyes open. Val laid a hand on Xellos's shoulder and smiled proudly at the priest.

"Xellos I'm so proud of you! Really!" Val told him.

Suddenly Xellos understood what they meant. Good thing he had learned to control his own emotions a long time ago or he would have definitely have blushed.

His first instinct was to deny it, he didn't want her for that... But it was as good an excuse as any, so he just smiled his usual smile.

"So, do I get her?" he asked.

Amelia murmured: "Now way, no way, no way, no way,..."

"No." said Sherra turning towards her .

"Please?" said Xellos.

Sherra didn't move. Valgarv just watched them not wanting to get involved into their discussion, he already had had enough with Mia today.

"I'll... I'll give you a Stone of Demonblood..."

"hmm... Two or no deal." Said Dynast’s general crossing her arms.

Xellos sighed mentally, "okay, two."

Sherra turned around, a bright smile on her face.

"Deal! Gime, gime, gime!"

She reached for the stones on his wrists.

The things I endure for you Luna-chan.... Xellos gave her the stones and proceeded to walk towards Amelia, but Dynast's general cut his way.

"No, no, no. You wait in your chambers, I'll bring her to you." she told him.

Xellos wanted to protest, then he decided against it, "As you wish." and he disappeared.

Xellos sat on his favorite chair in one of his chambers, one where only high-ranked Mazoku could enter and waited for Sherra to show up with Amelia. He found himself smiling at the thought of his newly acquired 'toy'. Such fierceness...

Most humans would have been scared to death to the thought of being a prisoner among high ranked Mazoku, but her fear had been masked with anger, almost undetectable, bur there,... Sherra would have enjoyed finishing her of...

The door swung open and a very pleased with herself Sherra, the two Demonblood Stones on her wrists, entered the room dragging an EXTREMELY angry Amelia on the leash behind her.

Xellos's breath stocked in his throat, although he kept his smile on his face. Well! Sherra had her fun with her after all... The girl had been changed from her previous outfit into a leather bikini with some jewels on it. Amelia didn't share Sherra's enthusiasm about her outfit.

"Here you go!" Sherra handed Xellos the leash, "Have fun!... Oh yes and don't get to attached to those Shadowstone-bracelets I will want them back when you're done." And with a bright smile she exited the room closing the door behind her.
