In Splinter's absense, Leo is the leader of the Turtles, a real 'take charge' kind of guy. He is clever, a fast thinker and an excellent strategist, but his best attribute, perfectionism, also happens to be his worst because he always strives to do everything to perfection. He sees it as an embarassment if he fails. He also feels the loss of face when the other turtles do something wrong, because he feels responsible for them and their actions. Though Splinter has taught him that it is honourable to fail if one tries his best, Leo can't accept his own short-comings. Despite the lack of self-confidence, Leo is perhaps the smartest all-round of the turtles.

Of all the turtles, Donatello is the most agreeable and self-contained. He would rather spend his time tinkering with gadgets than fighting. Donny probably rebels the most against the act of hurting or killing an evil opponent. He is, in a sense, a pacifist warrior (if that's possible). His skills with the Bo are enviable, but he prefers never to use it. Though he cares a great deal for his brother turtles, this inventive genius is the least clannish, and spends most of his free time alone, dreaming up new things to build.
Raphael: the sardonic witNickname= Raph

Favourite colour= Red
Raphael is described as the most impulsive and hot-headed of the turtles. He has a sharp wit and a hot but short-lived temper. Raph's best attribute is that he takes quick action to correct a wrong. Nagging problems keep him brooding until he finds a way to solve them - one way or another, but he sometimes bursts into fits of temper when things go wrong and it takes the others a long time to calm him down. His best buddy and sparring partner is Mikey. Mikey's good-natured disposition acts as natural balance to Raphael's tempestuous outbursts.
Personal View: There are basically two personalities of Raphael- The inner-anger type, and the wise-cracking one. The inner-anger one appears more often (the films, the Mirage/Image comics, and the LA show), whereas the wise-cracking one only appears in the cartoon.

Without a doubt, Michaelangelo is the most fun-loving of all the turtles. Life is to enjoy, and he lives to the fullest. He ahs a gentle, mischievous nature that often leads him to play practical jokes on the others (not always appreciated). He loves to read comic books and science fiction, eat pizza and go to the movies, especially to see E.T. and Critters. Mikey mostly hangs around with Raph because he feels the others are too serious. He doesn't always train as hard as he should.
Personal View: The actual magazine I found this in was an English publication, and so actually omitted Michaelangelo's weapons, as nuckachus are banned in Britain. I feel that a lot of this censoring is pointless, as Mikey would hardly be the only one without a weapon, when the others have them.
