Name: Robert Eugene Castle
Rank: captain
Stationed: U.S.S. DeRuyter, NCC-74587
Born: March 15 2337, Boston, North America, Earth
Family: William Thomas Castle ( father) , Mary Castle-DiMato
( mother),
Catherine Micheala Castle ( sister).
Background: raised in an upperclass American family. His father
was a filosofy teacher at Harvard University, now retired. His mother
is a homemaker. He gets very well along with his parents and sister, who
now works at Starfleet HQ at Personell and has the rank of lieutenant.
Robbie, as his parents call him, was an average student with a 'slight'
temper. He hated almost everything and everyone. Later this attitude changed
to the better. He attended Starfleet Academy from 2356-2360. It was
at the Academy that his talents became to surface. One of his old professors
said he was "born to lead". He then became a tactical officer on the U.S.S.
Winsor. That's where he met Chris Carswell, with whom he became good friends.
Carswell is now the captain of the U.S.S. Pathfinder.
It was at the Academy that his talents became to surface. After an
heroic attempt to save his colleages on an away mission wich was
successfull, his captain was so impressed that he promoted him to
lieutenant (jg). He remained on the Winsor for another year untill he got
tranfered to the U.S.S. Rally where got himself promoted to lieutenant
after 7 months. Three years later he got transvered to the U.S.S. Seine
where he became chief of security and was promoted to lieutenant-commander.
The Seine was destroyed in a battle against the Romulans in
2368. In 2369 he was assigned to the U.S.S. Europe as the First Officer,
after doing some re-scholing. The captain of the Europe Benjamin
Anderson was very pleased with Castle, although troubled by
his temper. The captain once found Castle beating up a crewman in
the messhall for 'being insubordenant and rude to a lady'.
When captain Anderson became ill Castle had to take command of
the ship after the ship's doctor declared the captain unfit for command.
The ship was returned to Earth in 2370, where the ship was assigned a new
crew. Castle was promoted to captain, but didn't get command over the Europe,
because it was a science vessel, but Castle definitely not
a scientist. He spent 6 months back home untill he was assigned as captain
of a brand new ship called DeRuyter. some time later, Carswell
was assigned the U.S.S. Pathfinder, a Sovereign-class vessal.
The U.S.S. DeRuyter was launched March 17 2372, two days after his
36th birthday. His first mission: seek out and apprehend Maquis-terrorists.
Hobbies: reading about WWII
airwars (he has a dog named 'Spitfire'), listening to 20th century style
Rock 'n' Roll,
blowing up things (really!) and practicing old Earth swordfighting.
