-Flint and Lady Jaye decide to take R&R in the Virgin Islands and Joined by Chuckles.

-Clutch jokes about going home but Rock 'n Roll tells him to get real and invites him to Malibu.

-Hawk and Stalker head to D.C. Torpedo talks to Wet Suit and Beach Head about hanging ten down in Hawaii

-Wild Bill heads down to good old Texas

-Keel Haul says that the Pentagon wants him to head the U.S.S Flagg over to the Gulf of Mexico.

-Airtght, Ozone, Cleansweep talk to Hardball Downtown, Lifeline, Bullet Proof, Cutter, and Shockwave about going to Los Angeles but Bullet Proof, Cutter and Shockwave say they are taking the D.E.F. to Miami, Mutt jumps in saying count him out.

-Mutt says that Millsville wants to give him and Spirit a parade for trying to help and Law and Cross Country decide to come with them.

-Duke and Sgt. Slaughter say that they are going to train new grunts and anyone else wanting to stay in shape.

-Scoop and Lightfoot got jobs in Hollywood as explosion technicians and cameraman

In the Silent Castle in Transcarpathia present is Cobra Commander, Dr. Mindbender, Baroness,Storm Shadow, Billy, Vipers, Cyber Viper, Slice and Dice; Wild Weasel is on the airstrip.

Cobra Commander states that the last interlude with Snake Eyes was too much for him he is going to his fortress up in Canada to relax. Dr. Mindbender is left in charge of the Silent Castle and told to take good care of his son and associates and to keep them on a tight mental leash.

-Cobra Commander is taking Slice and Dice with him and orders Wild Weasel to prepare the flight.

-Cobra Commander radios Destro and Zartan in Darklonia to go ahead with the plans and he wants a televiper constantly on the scene set to the specific coordinates of Canada.

-Cobra Commander then radios Tomax and Xamot to meet him at the Canadian stronghold to discuss urgent funding plans.

-Cobra Commander's final thoughts are "good to get out of that nut house". For a while I was locked up in their with a screwball and a bunch of brain zapped morons".

-Dr. Mindbender thinks "Finally I'm in charge of things and now that whining d**k head is gone I can relax and get to work on some of my real projects..." And looks at the three slobbering buffoons.

-Joe steps off the Tomahawk into the misty murky country of W-Land (not known to the reader at first) until General Liederkranz appears.

-Joe gets off the Tomahawk and thinks "I haven't seen the battle field in decades why the hell did they pick me to head this mission? crazy f**k*n' brass, a*****es always got to f**k s**t up.

-A tall, fat figure comes out of mist it is General Liederkranz, coming to welcome the Joe aid in their time of need. He apologizes for his aid not being their to help him and that he has run off in terror.

-He takes Joe to his command tent somewhere and sits him down to a grand feast (mostly for himself) and explains that his sources have gotten word that the combined forces of the Darklonian police and Cobra are launching a full scale attack on W-Land.

-Joe finishes saying that tomorrow we begin the training.
