HTML Editor
This is a VERY BASIC HTML editor. It is really just a text editor,
but there are a few advantages:
- You can preview it immediately
- You can use it anywhere--it's on the Web
- You can save a copy easily (Just do "File, Save" and it's yours!)
- It's platform-independent (meaning it works on PC's, MACs, SUNs, etc.)
- It's FREE!
I plan to create a better version in the future, but I hope this will be
helpful for now.
NOTE:
JavaScript adds a tag called "<base href> (at the very top) and
sets it to MY account name. When you save the page to your own computer,
you need to go back and DELETE this line of code.
And here are some other Known Bugs with ALL versions.
There are 3 Versions to Choose From:
- Version 1.0 -- Very basic. Enter raw HTML and "preview" it.
- Version 2.0 -- Click "buttons" and be prompted for text. Does not include Font Color,
and you must know Hex. values for other colors. <.base href=> messes up pictures/links.
- Version 2.1 -- (Frames Only!) Colors and <base href=> fixed. Font Color added.
- Or read about Planned Updates for Version 3.0!!
Other Tools I've Created To Help You:
Color Tester. Displays sample text and link colors on the desired background.
Table Creator. Makes creating tables as easy as filling in a form.
