Part II Ellebreknit
The dark blue rays warmed my face as I opened my eyes. Something flickered by as I looked at the morning sky. Darting and then hovering like a hummingbird, a beautiful dark blue faerie scantily clad in a delicate pink outfit whispered in my ear, "Ellebreknit si em". |
That's not any language I have heard before. In the Land of Fae I could understand the faeries and trolls. I asked, "Can you help me get home? I need to meet someone to help me program this device." She was carrying a wand that was sparkling at the tip. Maybe I'm dreaming. This faerie reminds me of those in children's books, except her outfit made her look like a lingerie model.
I rose to my feet and she followed me, keeping close enough that I could feel the wind from her fluttering wings. She then flew ahead, motioning me to follow. We kept on a straight path that suddenly started a gradual incline and then sharply turned into a hard upward climb.
I'm wasn't in shape for mountain climbing and the faerie kept flying way out in front of me, often getting out of view. Finally I collapsed on a bed of purple plants and refused to go any further. The faerie kept trying to get me to follow, but my body refused to budge. She flew up to my face and looked me eye to eye. Her wand tapped me on the forehead and a stream of sparkly glitter fell before my eyes.
Miraculously, my strength returned. We continued for another hour and reached a path that rimmed the side of the mountain. Being somewhat afraid of heights, I felt uneasy looking out over the vista before me.

There was a deep valley with another mountain in the distance. The faerie motioned with her wand that I must go on to that mountain. "Og ot eht elbbub sevac." I somehow understood what she was saying. She flew up to me again, fluttered in my ear (it tickled) and disappeared. I was alone again. I made my way around the rim and found a downward path heading toward the other mountain. I was getting used to the colors which made walking a little easier. Finally, I reached the end of my newfound strength and decided to rest for the night. |
