Synopsis:
Odin confirms Loki's suspicions of a looming Ragnarok. Balder seeks to rouse his fellow Asgardian from their sombre mood and challenges them to test his invulnerability. A plethora of weapons are used against Balder without harm. However Loki fulfils his prophecized role and supplies Hodur with an enchanted bow and mistletoe arrow that strikes down Balder.

The trial of Loki is held and the verdict is guilt! However, Loki has goaded camera man, Red Norvell, who has fallen in love with Sif, into become a version of Thor. Norvell seizes Mjolnir and defeats Thor. Sif agrees to leave with him if he spares the court of Asgard. Odin is helpless while he maintains the Odinsheild over Balder.

Hela retreats and Ragnarok is avoided. Odin bids Thor to forsake the Earth, however Thor disagrees and Odin exiles him.
