She Is Over

Insanity creeps at my soul
Gently tugging I feel it pull
Offers me an escape from this
An escape from pain I won’t miss

It would seem that she is over
She is over me, it is gone
Let it all go if it is gone
But you see, the pain is not gone

Oh yes, I told her to do it
I told her to get over me
Got mad at her so often that
It worked, she is now over me

Is this all that bothers me now?
I think there are more things causing
Insanity to wander in
Where am I going with my life?

It would seem that she is over
Making that decision for her
Am I jealous of her life?
Was my life not a better life?

Oh yes, I told her to do it
I made her get over me, yeah
So I can’t be hurt by this, yeah
Feel no pain, feel no pain, insane

Insanity creeps into me
I rant and rave at everything
Help me to get outside of me
So I can look at everything

It would seem that it is over
And the other gone from my work
Deserted from all of my sides
‘Cause everyone thinks I’m a jerk

Oh yes, I told her to do it
I told her to throw me away
Got her so fed up that she did
Now teach me how to go away

Have I completely lost it now?
She is over me, it is gone
Let go of your sanity now
Now teach her what she did to you

Oh yes, I’m sure this will get her
To come back to me, I am sure
She will see that she was wrong here
And so insanity has won.
