If you've seen my WWF page, you know I'm obsessed with WWF wrestling. I got into it in the early `90s, prior to the revelation that it was fake, and like any kid, I got into it. I fell out of interest with it after a while, but it came back after I rediscovered it in late `99. And those pre-adolescent wrestling fantasies came back, in new form.
One day, I just started writing these stories. I don't know why. Maybe I finally got tired of just imagining matches with my made-up wrestlers and wanted to write them down. Maybe it was because I found other people with the same idea on Fanfiction.Net. Who knows?
A word about the WWF where this is set. I started writing "Storm Warning" about September 2000, and by and large, I maintain the alliances and positioning of that time. That means that throughout the two series, Mick Foley is still Commissioner, Jerry Lawler still works for the WWF, and the whole WCW purchase never happened. Subsequently, Shane and Stephanie do not own WCW or ECW, so the Invasion never happened.
As my series wound on, I linked up with another WWF fan-writer named Boulder, who had been writing a series about a wrestler named Viper, who pals around with the Hardys and Lita. Boulder's series also featured a heel team called Venom (Cobra, Python, and Rattler -- though Rattler had left by the time Boulder & I collaborated). We collaborated on "The Enemy of My Enemy," "Breakdown," and "In Your Head."

RAGING STORM
Set about two months after the end of the Storm Warning series, the Raging Storm saga introduces a new character and gives more insight into the Storm's past. The new man is Billy Rose, a young hotshot who used to run an independent wrestling federation in California -- the same fed where the Storm got his start. The arrival of this bitter enemy from his past sends the Storm spiraling out of control as Rose shows how adept he is at mind games. Later in the story, more characters are introduced -- a massive man called Brick and two dudes, Zed & Zeta.
During the course of this series, I collaborated heavily with Boulder, as we intertwined our stories more and more, as Rose feuded with not only the Storm, but the "Alliance" -- comprised of Triple H, Viper, Rattler, Test, and a new character named Soul.
