The Borg Collective is a group of cyborgs linked together by with the help of cybernetic implants in each drone. The drones are the workers for the collective. There are literally trillions or more drones in the collective. Each hive, or section of Borg has a queen. The queen is the focal point in which all the Borg run through. The queens sort of like the interlinker. The Borg has vastly superior technology to anything in the Milky Way galaxy. Their goal is to obtain perfection. They add and expand their knowledge as well as get closer to perfection by assimilating other beings into their collective. They not only have the ablilty to assimilate biological matter, but technological too. The drones, and their ships have a remarkable regenerative ability, along with the feature to adapt to energy weapons, such as phasers. This makes there ships nearly impossible to destroy (once the adapt to your weapons...), along with their drones and queens. They are the deadliest force known.
