The Super Star Destroyer Stormfire floated in space, just out of weapons range of the alien ships.
" Sir, they are making an escape!" the lieutenant at helm said.
" Let them go. Their speed is inferior to hyperspace," Captian Yung said from the bridge of the Stormfire.
We have chased them through nine star systems. They keep appearing and dissapearing, but if they had hyperspace, they wouldbe halfway across the galaxy by now. They seem to have superior sensory devices, but inferior weapons as well as shielding, Yung thought..
" Tell all sensor pods in all systems to be on alert. They may pop out anywhere."
" Sir, scientists from section E-6 are requesting that you speak with them."
" Alright, put it on my viewer," Yung said.
The viewer to his right side changed from a blank screen to an image of a short stubby man. "Captian, we have been studying the phenomenon that the alien ships had come through. We came to conclusion that it was a hyperspace wormhole that brought them to our galaxy. Sir, my point is, that I think we are able to mimic the way they got here, and go to their galaxy..."
" And conquer it for the glory or the Empire," Yung said, finishing the scientist's sentence. " Tell all availiable ships to jump to co-ordinates 953.573. We have another galaxy to take over."
" Oh man," Commander Mask said as brought his TIE Advanced to the resting place of the hangar bay of the SD Stormfire. " The Archangel is gone! The aliens must pay dearly."
Thrity seven Imperial Star Destroyers, twenty Victory-class Star Destroyers, two Super Star Destroyers and five Interdictor cruisers made up the Empire's primary invasion force. The fleet swarmed around the rendovous point like a swarm of deadly bees. The fleet was larger than ever assembled, but they has a great task at hand.
The iron grey Imperial warships were almost at a standstill, their inderior lights shining into the depths of space, while their legons of fighters escorted them. The Super Star Destroyer Stormfire lead the fleet, preparing it for a glorious victory of the Imperial Navy.
" Prepare to initciate anomoly," Yung ordered. " Inform the fleet... we are going in." Parts of the Stormfire flared, as the modified SSD realesed quantum particles and radiation to mimic the natural phenomenon that brought the Enterprise and the other Federation ships to the Empire. Instantly, a bright red temporal rift open up, glowing radiantly with florescent colors. Gases from it spewed out into space, making it look like a giant fire in the cold vacuum of space. The anomoly streched out, until it was large enough to let the sixty Imperial vessels through. Then, the fleet entered.
The anomoly closed behind them, and they were gone.
In a flash of blinding light, the Imperial fleet came into the Alpha Quadrant.
" All ships report in," Yung said.
" All ships are accounted for. The ISD Protector and the VSD Eagle are both disabled, due to the stress from the wormhole. The other ships are slightly damaged, but intact," the sensor officer said. " We are worse off, though. We blew twelve quantum radiation generator and two small plasma reactors. Power is out on decks thirty to forty."
" That is fine. Uhh... where are we?"
" Well, according to the information we downloaded from one of the alien ship's shuttles, we are somewhere called: The Neutral Zone. The Alien computer was extremly resistant to our own slicer droids, but we managed to get some info out of it. The nearest... Fed...er..a.. Federation outpost, thats what the alien ships call themselves, the nearest base is Deep Space Two. We sould get sufficent information from there."
" Set course for that station, we want to surprise them. They may not know what hyperdrive is. Inform the fleet, and execute."
The invasion fleet dropped out of hyperspace 100 kilometers away from the medium sized space station. The outpost had little time to react, and didn't even get to arm weapons systems when the Stormfire started to engage the station. The feable shielding it had was no match for the 500 turbolasers aboard the Super Star Destroyer, as the bolts of energy disabled the shielding and overloaded the shield generators. Then, the Stormfire fired diabling ion shots into the station's weapons and communication system. Boarding shuttles were launched, along with hundreds of stormtroopers. The personel of the Federation outpost put up a fight, but not for long. The slicer droids spent six hours downloading everything from its computer, and when they got what they needed,all Imperial soiders departed, and the fleet fired full turbolasers at the station, incinerating it. And vaporizing everyone on board. Then in a flurry of motion, the fleet was gone again.
