OK, this page is going to focus on Rue, the wanderer. As much as I would like to tell, I can't say everything that's going to happen so bear with me... OK, when you start the game and pick Rue, you'll notice something different about him right away in battle. When you kill a monster, a coin is left behind of that monster that Rue can use. When you pick up the coin, Rue can transform into that monster to use it's attacks. This is a VERY useful trait of his. Every time you use a monster's attack, it deplets Rue's MP the same way Mint's magic deplets her MP. The good thing about it is that can resort to physical attacks when you get low on MP to slowly gain it back. Unfortunately, Rue is only able to hold four coins. When you collect four coins and kill the fifth monster, the first coin you got will disappear. So, it's very useful to pick only monster coins that will help you through different areas, not necessarily every monster you fight. Rue can use anywhere from two to three attacks with the monster coins. Certain monster coins will need to be collected in order to past a certain spot (remember that...). Your goal as Rue is to find and use Dewprism to bring back that woman he cared for, Clare, from the dead. |
