The Iron Maiden has confirmed they second apperence at the Rock in Rio Festival.
The Rock in Rio festival will be taking place in the Barra Da Tijuca area of Rio and the event takes place over the dates January 12-14th and from 18th-21st. Maiden headline on Friday January 19th and tickets go on sale in early November.
This is the third Rio Festival and the second that Iron Maiden have played on. They first played in Brazil at the very first festival back in January 1985 to an audience of some 250,000 people as special guests of Queen.
That's the first sure date of Brave New World South American Tour. This decision of the band may also mean that they won't play in some traditional places like São Paulo.
