A.S.aP. was Adrian's solo project, that started when he left Iron Maiden. (Adrian Smith and Project). Together with his old partners of Urchin and even Zak Starkey (Ringo Star's son) that substituted Nick McBrain in the drums, Adrian recorded an album called Silver and Gold, that had a good sound of melodic rock, something kinda "bluesy". The band released singles and a video clip of Silver and Gold (the music), that is comented below by a member of the band:
"I think is in the process of being banned from MTV at the moment because we have bits of the album cover, the naked girl, that I must say is very, very tasteful. You can't see anything specific. It's kind of an artsy shot."
