I once saw an ad for Welch's featuring a little
girl with a bottle of grape juice... which prompted me to write this... during
a six-hour layover in the transit lounge of the Dubai airport... on Christmas
day.
Purple Things
"Purple is for special things."
Said girl with bottle of juice.
Repeated in my mind it rings
So sweet and strange of truth.
I may be mad, the mind's decay
Making imagination fertile.
So truth it is and I shall say
That she is just so purple.
