Ged, or Sparrowhawk as he is commonly known, lives in a

world where the true name of things is their most important

characteristic. Through the true name you can gain magical

power over things and in connection to them, and also over

people.

Sparrowhawk grows to be the most powerful wizard of his world. Through innate affinity

to the whole subject of magic, total dedication, and of course and unavoidable destiny

he learns and progresses while try to keep his life under control.
