Wow, it's been a long time since I wrote what I was up to. So here goes, I'm now working part-time at Warwick University as a Course Co-ordinator for Occupational Health and studying part-time for an MA in Globalization and Development. So am uber busy at the moment. Yep have moved to Coventry, which is interesting trying to re-make friends again, but I've been here a year now, so that's not really a stress anymore. Although being in the student scene again makes me feel old, it's not like in the good ole days.
I've split up with James as he cheated on me, which actually comes as something of a relief, so am trying to get myself healed from that catastrophic relationship then look out men! ;-)
Otherwise I'm just generally playing the game of what do I want to do in life and getting by in whatever free time I have. This entry will probably be more interesting in March when I can have a life again. Currently my course is a little too intense for such frivolties.

Isaiah 58v6-12
Is this not the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and to untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter -
when you see the naked, to clothe him,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

Then your light will break forth like the dawn
and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say:
Here am I

If you do away with the yoke of oppression,
With the pointing finger and malicious talk,
and if you spend yourselves on belhalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,

"Artistic Pose"
then your light will rise in the darkness,
and your night will become like the noonday.
The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.

Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

Greetings and Salutations! After several attempts of writing this page, I have now realised the downside, you have to keep updating it everytime you move or have a birthday! Doh! So anyway, my current attempt is thus;
Hello, I am Jo. I am from Salford which is near Manchester in the island in the centre of the universe - England (If the Romans can claim Italy to be the centre, I don't see why I can't claim England to be the centre). I am a student living in a big brother type existance in the bubble known as University of Warwick (no tv, can't be bothered to buy newspapers - you come home at the end of term and find out that the world has been taken over by aliens or other such frivolities). What do I do there? You may ask, even if you don't I'm gonna tell you anyway, muhahahaha. I study Ancient History, although take the word "study" with a pinch of salt. I attend the lectures, that's as far as study goes, that's enough, honestly, some people want the moon on a stick. I go to canoeing where I drown myself as I am learning to roll. I go to juggling and accidently kill people with random flying juggling balls (I'm not very good at juggling, I've only been learning since november so that's my excuse). I'm a Christian and so am involved with all the CU stuff and go to the coolest groovy Elim pentecostal church - which also allows me to leave the bubble of warwick campus a few times a week and venture into the city that is Coventry. I also work volunterily in the outreach cafe run by my church on a wednesday. Back at home in my little village with nothing to do at all, I'm so grateful for my car so that I can go places of interest with my friends - YAY! Volvo 340, not exactly a mercedes but is MY car due to circumstances so I'm not complaining. Music, hmm, rock indie jumpy stuff but I do like to scare people with my love for eighties cheese - being one of the only people in the world who actually like the agadoo song - LIVE ON BLACK LACE! I'm bored of writing now, oh yes, I have a very short attention span - WAHAY (why that was deserved of a wahay I don't know). Bye folks!

Third year at Warwick Uni. Gah! Have to work now. Well now let's see, wasn't the above entry a long time ago? Currently my life consists of working on my dissertation "justifications of ancient slavery", attempting to keep the Speak society together - el presidente of christian campaigning society, making Warwick Uni become Fair trade, other forms of fighting injustice and er, my fun new hobby of piercing! :'D
Decided to let them all heal now for a year before I get some more, only 6, not that many really. *sigh* Oh yes and amendments to the above, I now go to Westwood church, drive a very sheik black fiat punto, and oh dear, I wrote "live on black lace" *hangs head in shame*. Ahem! Am broadening my musical tastes to involve all the different types of rock music, classical, indie, punk, middle american rock, nu-metal, but happily to report, moving away from the agadoo song - GAH!! Oh and I occassionally go to Donets'k in the Ukraine - am going again in July - Woooooooo, as well as India, hopefully. Yay! Playing in other countries is fun! Westerners take so much for granted, well, when I rule the world......Muhahahahahahaha

Well I am currently working for SPEAK in Manchester as a regional support worker for the Midlands. I'm normally quite stressed about various different things; mostly money, occassionally housing, sometimes that James is being grumpy, various things really. I also work for a temping agency although when I say 'work' of course I mean I'm signed up to a temping agency, they haven't actually given me any work for a month nearly, hence the quite stressed about money bit. *sigh* big grown up stresses. Umm, don't really do a lot in my spare time, well, I have a lot less spare time now I'm working and my weekends are spent seeing James. Um, I bell-ring still on a tuesday and one of these days I'll be able to progress from call changes. Any bell-ringers out there reading this will be chuckling to themselves in the memory of when they were at that stage. I've just joined a cell group so hopefully that will turn out to be good and I get to meet lots of new people. Otherwise I just hang out with friends, making sure I actually get to see them while I'm Up Norf. Have also been roped into Larping at weekends,and although quite quite geeky, it is strangely addictive. Though a little uncomftable walking accross campus in period costume even with a big group of you. Also planning to move to Coventry at the end of June, so hence housing stresses.div>
