Mark St.John,born Mark Norton February 2,1956 in Anaheim,CA ,joined KISS in 1984 after Vinnie was asked to leave the band.Mark was a very fast guitarist who played on the Animalize album and part of the tour.Mark had to leave the band after developing a rare form of arthritis that caused his hands to swell after extensive playing.During most of the Animalize tour,Bruce Kulick took over the lead guitar work while Mark waited on his condition to improve.After no luck,Mark St.John left the band after only one album.
