Recovery

As more artifacts are released from the ice's grip, possible explanations melt away as well. The team is left with a conclusion they find hard to accept.

Crash Site Overhead Measurement Gear

Working as a unit, but each at their assigned task, the team members independently arrive at a shared conclusion.

Crash Site Excavation

"Surrounding ice dates back at least 12,000 years."

Crash Site Monitoring

"Metallurgic analysis doesn't match any known alloys."

A Mild Mannered Technician

(thinking)"I don't like the look of these green rocks."

Crash Site Excavation

"We'll need to take samples to base camp to get some answers."

Bad Feeling

"I'd rather build a snow fort so I can be alone."

The material in the artifacts suggests something beyond state of the art technology. Analysis of surrounding ice cores date the debris site as at least 12,000 years old. The temporal puzzle of advanced technology predating the dawn of man leads to no firm answers, but to a shared strong belief. This is a crash site of an extra-terrestial or extra-technological ship. Time machine? Space craft? Perhaps more analysis back at base camp will yield some answers.
