Basic Informaton

The SFMC or Star Fleet Marine Corp is the front line in all planetary incursions and excursions. They are the only specially trained units in Star Fleet. Their basic mission is one of invasion. They are what are known as the "ground pounders" because of their ferocity. SFMC is the group that takes over a planets and secure them and start building either ground based bases or outposts. The SFMC is divided into two main forces. The SFMC Marines and the SFMC Special Operations (Spec Ops) are the two forces. The main Marines are similar to the 20th and 21st centuries Marines except that instead of coming from the sea to the ground, they come from above and bring havoc on the ground. They are sometimes called by some of their nicknames such as "Mud Eaters" and "Mud Bites", but they take those names as a great honor for the reason that they are trained in more ways than any officer in Starfleet The SFMC Spec Ops are the equivalent of the 20th and 21st Century United States Navy Seals. The Spec Ops secure areas and scout different areas, as well as man bases. They also comprise the security details for high ranking officers and political leaders. The abilities of the Spec Ops extend from those of the Marines to more dangerous things. Some of these include Securing Explosives, Explosive Deactivation, Assassinations, Capturing, Destruction of Outposts, Star Bases and/or Space Stations, Espionage, Hostile takeovers of Outposts, Star Bases, and/or Space Stations, and other similar things in these categories. The Spec Ops have a more notorious name "Seals" just as their 20th and 21st centuries equivalent, for their jobs are almost identical.

SFMC Marines:

The Marines are based on the old system of organization using Battalions, Platoons, Squadrons, Units, and finally members. This Stats are only for the ground operatives, but there are many other in the AHTS and in the MADS. The Battalions are the largest of these divisions, with Platoons, Squadrons, Units, and members following respectively in size with individual members being the smallest division. The Battalions are composed of approximately 5-8 Platoons. Each Platoon is made up of around 12-14 Squadrons. Each Squadron is made up of 20 Units and the Units are made up of 10 men/women. The smallest Batallions are of 12,000 members. Not all members or divisions are alike however, starting at Squadrons, the devisions break down into smaller specialty groups. The Squadrons all have something that makes them the best on something. Whether their specialties lie in full motion attacks or concentrated Outpost attacks, they are trained in many different tactics, but excel at one. In every Squadron the Units within them have special duties that they carry. Whether it is the communication system, the tactics or any of the other of the arts of war, the Units within Squadrons execute them. The Battalion Commanding Officer is the most highly recognized member of the SFMC Marines. They are usually put in harms way to show that even high ranking officers do the "dirty" job. The normal rank of a Battalion Commander is Capt. - Adm. The normal rank for a Platoon Commander is Cmdr. - Capt. The normal rank for a Squadron Commander is Lt.Cmdr. - Cmdr. The normal rank for a Unit Commander is Lt. - Lt.Cmdr.

SFMC Spec Ops:

The Spec Ops are based on a more down to scale system. They are Squadrons, Units, and Teams. They are very small and very well trained. The Squadrons are usually made up of at most 8 Units, each Unit has 10 Teams, and each team is made up of 8 members. The Units usually the ones to actually perform the operations or missions. The Squadrons are a formality that is only used to show rank and status. The Commanding officer of a Squadron is perhaps a Captain that has a desk job of getting the missions from Star Fleet Command and passing them on to the appropriate Units. The Unit Commander is one of the most highly prized possessions that a member of the Spec Ops community might want. The normal rank for a Squadron Commander is Capt. - Adm. The normal rank for a Unit Commander is Cmdr. - Capt. The normal rank for a Team Commander is Lt.Cmdr. - Cmdr. The lowest rank you may have to even be considered to be able to enter the SFMC Spec Ops community is Lt. Junior Grade. Weapons System and Vehicles of the SFMC Marines: The SFMC Marines are transported to the planets in which they are needed by use of a starship. The Class of starship that they use is called the Advanced Heavy Transport Starship. It has the most advanced ground sensory system that Star Fleet possesses and the most advanced transporter systems. (More information on the ships will be provided later) When the Marines get to the planet, they need to get to the surface of the planet, so they use the mobile air delivery system or MADS.

THE MADS

MADS double as delivery ships and an air support vehicles. They don't carry any bombs, but they do carry many very powerful guns and laser turrets. The laser system used is a Twin MkVI system. It is mounted on an all point setup, and it can fire up to 4 bursts at a time. The MADS carry two turrets in their belly. One, a 2x High Speed Pulse Cannon, has up to 5000 rounds and very fast targeting system. The other turret is a 2x MkV phaser. The two turrets have proven to be a unique and lethal combination. This system is furthermore equipped with a Rocket Pod system next to the pair of turrets, on the lateral side and use 4 Rocket Pods. The rockets' warhead is a photon based explosive. It is also a very proven gun-ship for some situations. On its nose, the most impressive turret of them all is located. The Photon Gauntling Gun or PGG. It is capable of firing 25 burst a sec. This weapons position is primarily for enemy turrets and other hardened vehicles. On the top side of the ship, a missile turret is housed, but only 25 missiles can be kept in this particular vehicle. The MADS can carry up to 50 men/women or two AHHV (with crew inside) The SFMC Marines use the most advance ground moving modern day "tank" in the know galaxy. The "tanks" are called AHHV's, for Advance High-speed Heavy Vehicle, there are only 2 class of this type of vehicles. The Leopard and the Tigris:

THE LEOPARD

The Leopard AHHV is the main battle system. Its main job is to be the "big guy" in the battle field and do almost all of the destruction. It houses two Plasma Cannons mounted in one 360 degree rotation turret (lower turret), three High Speed Pulse Cannons chain gun, one mounted topside and two of them on the lateral side of the AHHV (shelled). It also contains 4 pods of Photon Rockets (each pod carries 32 rockets), and one Main Gun, a Quantum Cannon (shelled) housed in one 360 rotation turret (top turret). The Leopard has a power unit that uses nuclear fusion as its main catalyst. The Leopard is equipped with a full sensor array and more that 20 different detection systems. The Plasma Cannon works similarly to those in a starship but in a more cut down version, also the turret has a 32 degree inclination angle. The High Speed Pulse Cannons have the ability of firing 50 shots a second. The Leopard carries around 10000 rounds for each of its High Speed Pulse Cannon (HSPC). The Rocket Pods that this AHHV uses are located (2) on the lateral side of the main turret (top turret) and the other 2 pods are located bellow the HSPC's on the lateral side of the AHHV. The rockets are made of very small and controlled matter-anti matter devices that makes it capable of holding the photon charge. The rocket uses a magnetic polarity propulsion system, which gives it incredible speed and accuracy. The most impressive weapon in this AHHV is the main gun. The Quantum Cannon uses quantum energy and powers it through the cylinder and gives off a great amount of power. This Cannon uses shell based quantum energy, its ammo is about 250 rounds. The Leopard is manned by 5 members, a Commander, a Gunner, a Communications Specialist, a Navigator, and a tactician. The Tactician is actually the person in charge of the AHHV. The commander performs the duty of being an assistant to the tactician. The Gunner gathers and targets the objectives, the Communications Specialist does what the name implies and the Navigator is the driver of the AHHV. The Leopard travels by a magnetic-lift or track system (some planets gravity pull can't be calculated fast enough for calibration of the magnetic-lift system). The Leopards top speed on the track system is about 158.9 mph and on the magnetic-lift system is about 300 mph. There are at least two variants of this all ready perfect AHHV. The L version (L for leader), and the Comm version. The L version has a more powerful power unit, for more speed and a "golden" view system for full terrain scan and communication between all members in the operation area. The Comm version has reduced weaponry and more communication devices for long range out-of-the-ship operations.

THE TIGRIS

The Tigris is in the lighter side of the AHHV's. It is faster, more maneuverable, and more advanced than its bigger brother. The job of the Tigris is to find the targets and assign them to the other Leopards in the operation area. The Tigris uses the same power and propulsion system as the Leopards but it is much lighter than the Leopards, so the Tigris is much faster. The Tigris has 2x Photon Gauntling Guns, or PGG, with 20000 rounds for each weapon. It has the 4 ASHDM missile in the main turret located at the center rear area of the AHHV. The ASHDM, or Air to Surface High Destruction Missile, has massive destructive power. The ASHDM system is used for open combat operations. It also uses the Elito missile system. The Elito missile is used for concentrated high destruction areas. This missile is mostly used for the destruction of enemy sensors and gun turrets that might be to dangerous for the Leopards to engage or that the targets are prime objective and have to be destroyed before the big attack commences. The Tigris uses a Plasma Cannon VII as its main gun. This gun can fire 30 rounds a second but with a better range than its brother, but unlike its brother that takes the plasma from its power system, the VII uses shelled plasma rounds, and up to 10000 rounds of them. The Tigris most creative feature is its targeting system, the system uses a number of fine tuned sensors to pick up and identify anything on or in the ground. The Tigris uses the track and magnetic lift systems for mobility. The Top speed in the track system for the Tigris is 250mph and in the magnetic-lift system is 500mph. The Tigris has, just like its brother the Leopard, some variants. These include the S version, for the heavy sensory system. The S version only has the 2x Photon Guantling Gun as its defense, but it houses the most advanced and capable and effective sensory devices known to man. The other version is not a military version but a scientific one. It is the E version, E for Explorer variant. This Tigris E has one of the most advance analysis systems and Exploration capabilities. This type AHHV's are just the armored division in any squadron of the SFMC Marines. The other soldiers that are left outside of the vehicle are the backbone of the SFMC Marines. They wear special fighting suits. These suits have 4 basic variants, the Leaders, the Comm, the Basic (Fighters), and the Explosive. Each of these suites have different equipment to fully fill the needs of the man/women in the battle field.

THE SUITS

The Leaders suit is basically the typical Basic suit with one and only one modification, the "golden" view system. This system allows the leader to know the position of each and every single member under him, he can also see the position of his commanding officer in the field. The "golden" view system is located on the left hand of the officer. The Basic, or Fighters suit is the most basic suit that a soldier uses. This suit has a gas filtration/purification and conversion pack, located at the back of the soldier. A side arm holster, a main gun holster, a GLASS system helmet, and an ammo pack on its chest. These systems are all used for to aid in the survival of the soldier. The suit is made out of a material that can sustain disrupter, phaser, and some photon fire. The Glass system was designed to let the soldier know what is around him before anything even gets near him/her. The Glass system is comprised of a number of sensors that ultimately will enhance, sight, sound, smell, touch, and even taste. The Comm suit is the same Basic suit, but it has no side arm holster and no ammo pack. These are replaced by the communication system and the antenna. The Explosive suit uses the same principle as the Basic suit, but it has an even stronger material and no side arm holster is carried and it has no ammo pack. Instead, an explosive weapon pack is used, which is protected by a special tritanium shell that keeps the explosives from exploding. The Main gun on the suit is replace by a launcher.

HAND HELD WEAPONS

The Basic weapons of the soldiers are very diverse but they all fall in a few basic categories. Rifles, side arms, main guns, and launchers. The rifles are basically two guns, the plasma shelled rifle and the phaser rifle. Both of them have powerful and destructive power but they have ups and downs. The Plasma is by far more powerful that the phaser rifle, but the photon has a limited amount of ammo, in on magazine it can only hold 25 shots and its takes around 1 minutes to fully recharge they weapon. The range on the plasma rifle is 1.5 miles. The scope on this weapon is the same thing. The Phaser rifle has the best recharge and better accuracy of the rifles, the recharge time is the exact time you change the power unit and the power unit can last you up to 50 shots, and another good thing about the phaser rifle is that it is silent. The downside to this rifle is the power it carries. The plasma can create a 5 foot destruction area were as the phaser a 6inch destruction area is given and the power of the charge is significantly lower than the photon rifle. The side arms are the only weapon in the SFMC that are standard and are not up to the soldier to determine. The side arm that is used is the standard issue phaser, but the SFMC has a slightly more powerful version. It has a non-continuous fire system and it has a higher level of energy burst to them. The Main Guns are the most debated issue in SFMC Command Staff Meetings. There are around 4 weapons that are up to the soldier to posses. There is the standard phaser gun, with a very powerful energy discharge and again it has been modified for non continuous fire. The plasma rapid fire weapon is similar in appearance to the photon rifle. This weapon has a 50 round magazine and a 5 second recharge time. The reason reasons for the differences is that this weapon uses a different type of plasmatic base. The other rifles are the disrupters and an EMP bursting gun. The EMP bursting gun has been used but with very little liking on the part of the soldier. The energy is the same as the phaser gun but the converter time is too long, around 15 sec and the firing range and speeds are very weak. The only advantage to it is that it can fire and disable without killing the enemy. The disrupter is a modification of a Klingon high powered and high speed rifle. It uses the same design but has a change on its firing mechanism and on the look of it, it now looks more like a human weapon. As for the Launcher, there is only one design for a launcher. The launcher also has simple destruction, those are: feed it a missile, plasma, photon grenade, or a high explosive base grenade and it fire it!!! Weapons System and Vehicles of the SFMC Spec Ops: The Spec Ops are the most feared units and command around the galaxy, this reputation is not only given by their cool acting members and their elite training, but also by their most advance and most powerful plataforms of attack in the galaxy. The AHTS and the MADS systems are all identical but they have key enhancements.

THE ENHANCED AHTS:

The enhanced AHTS is enhanced in all possible ways. The shielding system uses a penetration shield. These shields make barriers of different distances by making a shell around the starship. The other main enhancement is the transporter, the transporters can do their job at much greater distances, these transportation devices were given as a gift from the Heran human society on the Heran homeworlds. The transporter as of now, has a very long range. The other key enhancement, and it is also one that helps the Spec Ops greatly, is the sensory, even when the ship is nearly 3 light-years away, it can monitor and keep a continuous scan of the operation area. The AHTS also carries a full regiment of fighters in the form of the Marcle and the Alkon. The AHTS is also a very formidable starship, equivalent to a destroyer class starship. Tts powerful phaser cannons and plasma cannons and even its typical phaser array and phaser turrets prove to have awesome power. The Torpedo bays are on the top and bottom side. This 2x torpedo bay setup helps in firing at multiple targets. Each Torpedo Bay has its own targeting computer, and the Torpedo Bay's are mounted in a "turret" like system for a full 360 degree firing envelope at the z axis. The AHTS can carry about 32 Marcle and 15 Alkon fighters. The internal crew of the AHTS is about 500+ men/women, excluding the ground or operative forces, it is very usual that an entire squadron would be in one AHTS. The AHTS also has training and skill training holedocks. In total, the AHTS has about 10 holodecks, an individual holodeck for each Unit in the Squadron. This ship also has 5 other holodecks for all crew pleasure.

THE ENHANCED MADS:

The Enhanced MADS keep all their firing systems and all of the sensory condition but it has a more reliable and more powerful communications array and a more powerful propulsion system.

THE MARCLE:

The Marcle is the fighter/hunter/killer of the SFMC. The SFMC is the only force in Star Fleet that posses this unique fighter. The fighter holds a crew of 3: a pilot, a rear officer, and the gunner. The pilots job is to fly the fighter into position, targeting and destroying that target, he has at his dispolsal new and smaller quantum torpedoes, the Marcle can carry about 8 of this torpedoes. This torpedoes are faster and are more manuverable. The pilot also uses his rocket pods that are the common ones (explained in other section) and their up to 4 pods with only 12 rockets for each pod. The pilot may also use the very powerful PGG, there are two of them each at either side of the nose. The rear officer job is the located the targets asses their intentions (if its to attack them or the AHTS), also he is to look at the target and possibly find a weak spot for it, and the rear officer keeps his hears wide open for any mission updates, he is also a communications officer. The gunners job is to use the big 4x plasma cannon mounted on the top side of the Marcle. The Marcle uses a very unique warp core system. It is the smallest ever created. The ship uses a non polarity multiplexing core. The ship can achieve warp 5 and maintain it for 2 hours. Warp 5 is the maximum speed of this fighter. The hull of this fighter is similar to that of any other starship but has a weaker molecular structure. The shields are also standard modular shielding. This fighter is only for space use. It cannot provide air cover for the units on the ground.

THE ALKON:

The Alkon is another type of fighter. It is much bigger than the Marcle but it is far more powerful. The Alkon is a fighter/interceptor/bomber/killer. This fighter has all the goodies than the Marcle but more of them. The rocket pods number at 6 with 25 rockets each. The quantum torpedoes stock is 12 and the PGG are 4, two of them connected to the nose side, and the other two connected to a turret underneath the pilot on the nose. The Alkon carries the same number of crew. In reality the Alkon is just the blown-up version of the Marcle with more powerful hull, shields, and it can also do ground incursion to help out the Spec Ops operatives on the ground. The Spec Ops operatives use the same suites with one difference, stronger material. The Spec Ops use the same weapons, they also have the Leopard and the Tigris as part of their attack arsenal but they have two new vehicles for some specific missions.

THE UPAV:

The UPAV, or Under-fluid Personnel and Attack Vehicle, is the only vehicle that can go underwater and destroy possible under-fluid targets, the UPAV uses an under-fluid weapon system that still remains classified. The power unit is the same as the AHHVs. The UPAV can carry a complete unit, the catch is that one has to stay with the UPAV so the operation is limited to 9 men/women in a unit.

THE CYCLE:

The cycle is the greatest way to travel, according to the Spec Ops operatives, the cycle is basically an all purpose fusion cycle, that can reach up to 250 mph with ground contact or an awesome 345 with the magnetic-lift. The Cycle has steady 2x PMG, Photon Machine Gun, with up to 5000 rounds, there are located on the lateral side of the vehicle, the Cycle also has a mini missile launcher with 4 mini missiles. Sensors are limited in this vehicle, only motion detection and energy spikes can be read on this vehicle.

Operational Structure of the SFMC Marines:

Today there are about 9 operational battalion in StarFleet, and one other battalion under training. 1. Glory Battalion (101st Battalion) onboard the USS Glory SFMCS-6157 2. Armageddon Battalion (92nd Battalion) onboard the USS Armageddon SFMCS-6158 3. Typhoon Battalion (21st Battalion) onboard the USS Typhoon SFMCS-6159 4. These Battalions continue to be the greatest and best Battalions in the SFMC Marines.

Operational Structure of the SFMC Marine Special Ops:

At present there are only 5 Squadron of the SFMC Spec Ops. There are no plans for any new squadron to be trained, although the present squadrons are constantly being upgraded with the best men. 1. Death Walkers (1st Squadron) onboard the USS Endless Night SFMCS-7501 (Classified) 2. Gallants (2nd Squadron) onboard the USS Death Water SFMCS-7501 3. Trojans (3rd Squadron) onboard the USS Obliterator SFMCS-7502 4. Black Knights (20th Squadron) onboard the USS Impaler SFMCS-7503 5. White Knights (21st Squadron) onboard the USS Last Vision SFMCS-7504

Identifying Marks of the SFMC Operational Units:

The Uniforms that the soldiers use have badges that identify them from the other battalions and from each other. In the Marines case, they use at their left shoulder on the top the Battalion Insignia, underneath that is the Platoon, and underneath that is the Squadron Insignia. At their right shoulder on the very top goes the Unit and then the specialty Insignias. At the left chest goes the SFMC Marine Insignia and at the right chest goes the Star Fleet Insignia. On the left chest under the SFMC Marine Insignia goes the officers nametag and the registry number. This is for the all around non-operations uniform. The Suits have the same marking only all of them are covered with a tiny hood that matches the suit's color. In the Dress and Gala uniforms all of the markings remain except that the Insignias are all edged with a gold color and the nametag is a badge with the name and the registry number in gold. The Ranks of the officers are the traditional pips. In the operational suit the ranks are in the neck and in the non-operational suit they are also in the neck. In the Dress and Gala they are on the shoulder blades. The Dress and Gala uniforms are different than those of the normal Star Fleet officer. The Dress is a black suit with black pants. The pants have a double silver bar going down the side. The suit has the SFMC pin on the right chest and the Star Fleet badge on the left chest. The Name badge is underneath the Star Fleet badge. The ranks are on the shoulder blades represented by bars with a single bright gem on the middle. In the Dress Uniform medals are not worn only the markers for those medals are worn and they are underneath the name badge. The Gala Uniform is a white suit with a white pant. The pants have a double black bar going down the side. The suit has the SFMC pin on the right chest and the Star Fleet Gala badge on the left chest The Name badge is underneath the Star Fleet badge. The ranks are on the shoulder blades represented by the bars with a line of bright gem on the middle. In the Gala Uniform medals are worn, if the medals are repeated more than once the medal has a little gem star that represents how many. If two stars are worn then its two medals.
