LIO CONVOY 
Function: Supreme Commander Beast Mode: White lion Allegiance: Cybertron Series: Beast Wars Second Note: The Lio in Lio Convoy is pronounced /laio/ as in the English word LION. Profile: Lio Convoy is a commanding officer in the Sabretron Galactic Patrol. During a Destron ambush in an asteroid field, Lio Convoy was separated from his fellow Cybertrons and crashed on the planet Gaea. In a critical state, Lio Convoy was saved by a white lion. He soon scanned in this lion's DNA and modelled his own beast mode after it. He is reunited with his other Cybertrons when they too later crash on Gaea. Lio Convoy is a courageous and noble commander who leads by example. He seldomly ask another Cybertron to do what he can do himself. Furthermore, he is more than willing to sacrifice his own life for his comrades, especially his second in command, Apache. Both Lio Convoy and Apache were once slaves of the Destrons. Since that time he and Apache have been staunch comrades. His skills as a warrior are legendary, one of his more notable fights was with the Insectron leader, Mantis, where he almost lost if not for Apache's inadvertant aide. Lio Convoy is also the "father" of Lio Junior, a Cybertron whose Spark was spawned from his own creation Matrix. |
