CHEETOR

*Profile: Cheetor was one of the original members of the Axalon crew along with Optimus Primal, Rattrap and Rhinox. He is the youngest and most impulsive of the group. He is a constant bundle of energy who is both eager for adventure and to prove himself. He is extremely loyal to the Maximal cause and will readily sacrifice himself for it. 

Cheetor shares a sibling relationship with fellow Maximal Airazor whom he shared circuitry with when she was a protoform. He looks up to Optimus Primal who he refers to often as "Big Bot". The other feline member of the Maximal team Tigatron took on a bit of a paternal role to Cheetor and is often referred to as "Big Cat" by Cheetor. 

Cheetor was the first Maximal on Earth to encounter the Predacons in a combat situation. Although impulsive, his speed and combat skills have managed to keep him from serious damage thus far. He is armed with a quasar cannon (also known as the "gut gun" due to the organic looking parts resembling intestines of an organic creature).

*Profile: When a quantum surge hit the Earth, Cheetor (along with fellow Rattrap) was mutated and gained a new body form. This form had three modes: Robot mode, A flying cheetah mode and metallic cheetah mode. This new form did not change Cheetor himself however. He is still as impulsive and enthusiastic as ever. 

 It was during this time period that Cheetor became involved in a "love triangle" when he became romatically interested in the Predacon Blackarachnia who was involved with the Fuzor Silverbolt. His young and immature nature still peeks through but he is still an essential Maximal in the Beast Wars.

Beast Mode: Cybernetic cheetah 
Series: Beast Wars Transformers (Season 3), Fight! Super Life Form Transformers Beast Wars METALS. 

*Profile: During a battle with the Predacons near a Transmetal 2 device, Cheetor grabbed the Transmetal 2 driver device and was blasted into the path of the Transmetal 2 creation device, causing his body to mutate. 

Unlike his prior mutation into a Transmetal, this mutation took place slowly, and caused a rapid maturing process for Cheetor mentally. Through painful steps, Cheetor's robot mode mutated into the Transmetal 2 form, giving Cheetor newfound powers, confidence and attitude. 

Cheetor's new beast mode took longer to grow however. When first formed, it remained feral until Optimus Primal guided him to remembering his Transformer self and allowing him to fully utilise his abilities. In beast mode Cheetor can use his rear mounted rocket pack to move at speeds up to Mach 2. His powerful claws can slash through some of the thickest armour (including Megatron's). 

In robot mode, Cheetor can use a hand held rocket launcher and also has the same claws that he utilises in beast mode. Cheetor is now more grown up, and dangerous than ever!
