Jonny Jonathan Quest is an adventurous boy with amazing spirit. It’s surprising to see him still alive at such a young age, knowing what he’s been through.

Jonny lives with his father Dr. Benton Quest, a famous scientist and inventor, and his dog Bandit. He and his two best friends, Hadji Singh and Jessie Bannon, have been on more exciting adventures than any other teenagers could. Race Bannon, his dad’s assistant, is presently his teacher, protector, and good friend. These three friends of his also live with him. His late mother, Rachel Wildey, died when he was eleven.

Jonny is a natural magnet for trouble. In the face of danger this heroic boy can save the world... literally. Often, Jonny either rescues or has to be rescued. One such event would be the time he risked his life to save his family... actually, that happened more than once. Jonny is very accustomed to taking risks to get a certain result.

The boy seems to be a bright young man with good self-confidence. He loves to win, especially in games against Jessie in Questworld. In the virtual reality simulator invented by his dad, Jonny plays all sorts of games and challenges. While he plays Jessie on the inside, Hadji monitors them on the outside. Unfortunately, Dr. Jeremiah Surd usually finds another way to invade Questworld and endanger him and his friends.

Jonny is a great fan of another invention of his dad’s: the hoverboard. It’s a experimental board that floats a few inches off the ground and can ride over water or land. The hoverboard has come in very handy to him when saving Jessie, and yet, it still managed to dent Race’s beautiful car. Apparently, for every good thing for Jonny, there is a bad thing. But that is what makes his life so exciting.
