Hadji Hadji Singh is an intelligent young man with more than meets the eye. What’s special about him is the fact that he is Sultan of a place called Bangalore.

A good and just ruler, Hadji spends some of his time in Bangalore with his mother Neila. He believes in equal rights for all, so when he can’t be there, his mother rules in his place. He is popular with his people because they find him kinder than the previous sultan, his cruel cousin. It is evident that Hadji will grow to be a cultured and good-natured leader.

When Hadji is not taking care of his kingdom, he is living with his adoptive father, Benton Quest. Along with him are Jonny Quest, Bandit, and Race and Jessie Bannon. He has a growing interest in science, and therefore helps Dr. Quest whenever he can. Even though he’s just a teenager, Hadji shows incredible wisdom while he quotes great people.

Hadji likes to spend time with his best friends, Jonny and Jessie. But he seems to get bored when they’re off in Questworld competing. So instead of monitoring the system they’re in, he slips into meditation, another one of his hobbies. Hadji is also into the Mystic Arts. At the moment, he’s teaching some of it to Jonny.

Yoga is one thing Hadji is learning to master. He has great patience with himself, which is needed. Something else the young sultan can do is work with and around tight knots. That had been very useful when they had to take the Zin twins away from a sacred place. Among Hadji’s many skills, he has great power over his mind. When Race was unconscious and hooked up to Questworld, Hadji reached him to warn him of what might happen. It’s almost as if there’s a little telepathy in there. No matter what he can do, though, Hadji Singh will always have the heart to try and solve a great situation.
