This is rated PG. Violence warning! Eh, no. It's not that bad.
Summary: As Race and Benton search the world, Jonny encounters a
little more trouble then he would like...

Race angrily slammed his fist down on the table. "Don't give me that,
Fraok, you know Surd. Do you know where they are?" He demanded.
Fraok shook his head. "Why does everyone thing I know what that old
geezer is doing? I sell him radio equipment! I sell it to Steel Case,
too!"
"That isn't funny, Fraok." Race said again.
The short, scrawny man gulped. "Well, I do. But Surd said something
about Antartica, one time, while I was selling his lacky Lorenzo some wire
cross overs. But do you think..."
Race turned and hurried from the room, hoping to get to the Dragonfly 2
and pick up Benton. They would be heading towards the Antartic in a few
hours.
    In The Antartic...
"You are going to kill us?" Hadji asked nervously. "I do not like to be
killed."
"Uh, no, actually. I suppose I have a better chance surviving with
more people." Holly Saomoan told them.
"Well that sounds wonderful." Jessie said with a growl. "You'll get
to safety and then shoot us? Wonderful."
"I have to agree with Jessie." Hadji said bluntly.
"I won't kill you." Holly said slowly. "Besides, it's a conflict of
interest."
    "In what way?" Hadji asked.
"That's not important now." Holly said. "Getting out of here is. By
my guess, we're in the west isle of Barbatus, in Antartica. Usually,
Icewalls also contain warmer areas on the other side. If we can cross
that, we might find a tourist ship to pass. Otherwise, we'll freeze."
"What if this side is the 'warm side'?" Jessie asked.
"Uh... then I don't know." Holly said. "Just trust me on this."
"So far, you have given us no reason to trust you." Hadji told her.
    Holly nodded. "I know."

Jonny walked down the corridor. He had lost the man that had been
following him. The blonde boy looked around. Where was he? This place
was much warmer then the outside, true, but it was no fun to sleep in a
place where a gunman was seeking your blood. He slowed down. The echoeing
of his footsteps didn't stop. Someone had been following him, obviously
keeping in rhythm with Jonny's footsteps. Jonny looked around. Bandit
sniffed. Bending down, Jonny slid into a side room. Just as he did, a
flashlight beam swept the area, missing him by a few inches. Jonny waited
quietly, as the man continued to walk towards him. "No sign here." He
said. "I'll check a little further down."
Jonny waited with a held breath as the man continued walking towards
him. Then, the man turned and left. Jonny released his breath, and looked
around. Now what? He acted on a whim, and continued the way he had been
going. After about a hundred yards or so of straight walking, he came to
yet another fork in the passageway. "If I keep up like this, I'm going to
get lost." He thought.
'Who care's?' Jonny wondered. He usually acted on a whim anyway.
Taking the left fork, he jogged onwards. Soon, he came to an area where
the lights on the side of the passage were turned on, so he slowed and
hugged the walls with each movement. Soon, he heard voices. "Yes, sir, we
didn't find anything." Said a voice, the same one that had been tracking
him before.
"You should have looked harder, dim bulb!" Another voice snapped.
"Silence, Jarot." Said a darker voice. "if anyone is in our facility,
it will get lost in the catacombys or killed. Don't worry. Now, we must
get back to the business at hand."
    "Yes sir." Jarot said sullenly.
Jonny peeked around the corner. There were three men in the room, one
sitting, the other standing. By the look of the one sitting, he was the
leader. He looked burly enough, but his face was hidden in shadows. The
Jarot charcater looked like a shrew, and the man that had been following
him looked like any other goon guard, thick and slow. Before anyone could
see him, he ducked back into the darkness. "Now, gentlement, I understand
the latest shipment of 'supplies' is in." The leader said.
"Yes, lord Volstaouf, it is." Jarot agreed. "It is in the cargo bay
as we speak."
"That is good. We can continue our testing, then?" 'Lord' Volstaouf
inquired.
"Yes, lord." Jarot said again. This guy was so sappy!
Jonny waited, hoping they would say what exactly this 'testing' was,
and what the supplies were. But no one said anything more, and Jarot
left, leaving only the man that had followed him and Volstaouf. "Now,
guard, what should we do with you for not catching whatever was in the
facility?" Volstaouf asked.
"Uh... uh... sir." The guard replied feebly.
"I have an idea, why don't we test our project?" Volstaouf asked.
The guard backed away, raising his hands. "No! Please sir! Noooo!"
He screamed, as Volstaouf motioned, and the guard was suddenly covered with
a strange, green slime. He melted into a puddle of gooze.
Jonny wrinkled his nose. That was bad stuff! There was no smell from
the 'ooze', though. If this was the stuff they were making here, then
these guys had to be stopped! Entire platoons could be destroyed by this!
He turned, wanting to figure out some way to get topside.
    And then Bandit barked.
Jessie, Hadji, and Holly had made it to the ice wall. "So, what do we
do, climb up or go around?" Hadji asked.
"No, the real question is do we want to freeze to death or fall to our
icey dooms?" Jessie asked.
Hadji shook his head. "You're so positive."
The three began to climb up the side of the cliff, as quick as they
could manage without falling. Then, Hadji suddenly lost his grip,
plummeting backwards into Jessie. The two plummeted towards the ground now
a hundred feet below...
