The Talsuran have a most interesting backround, being the 
decendents of an Avian race, but having Humanoid features. Their 
name for themselves means Talsura's children.

There are two types of sentenant beings living on this planet, the
Talsuran, and the Talsura. The Talsura appear to be large birds,
with intelegince. Not much is known about them, save that they
are as intellegent as the Talsuran, and they can make themselves
invisible. The Talsuran are a cross between humanoid and Avianoid, 
with feathers on their bodies and instead of hair on their heads.

The twin cultures live side by side,and are linked in all manner of
categories. It has been determended that they both are decendants of 
a single race, but what that race looks like is yet to be determined.  
Needless to say, an interesting mytholigy has developed from this.

They have had no upheivals in their goverment sistem, and no major
conflicts in their recorded history.

The Talsuran grown remarkibly fast compaired to Terrans, in one 
season composed of two to three months they are ready to be born, 
compaired to the nine months for a Terran. There are of course, 
exceptions. This is also true for the Talsura.

The seasons are mesured by the time it takes the five distinct Talsura
races's eggs to reach maturity, and be hached.  Each Talsura race is a 
diffrent color, there are five distinct races.  We have been told that 
each race is born with the distinct race colors, and moods, that prevail 
throughout life. However, they change colors according to their 
moods. This is also true for the Talsuran.

The Talsuran/Talsura's eyes have two irisis. Their feather colors are 
the mental charistics they present to the outside world, the outermost 
iris is their personality, and the innermost signifies the season/s that 
they were born in.

The Talsuran have the same eye color as the Talsura of their season. 
Here are the birds-season names, the temperment belived to go with 
them (like a natural horoscope) and the corosponding Terran months:

Nyvash, the season of winter: the Talsura for this season has whites 
and blacks as strong as the colors are seen on Talea's world, this bird 
has a cruel temper when provoked, but will leave alone those who do 
it no harm.
(December, January, February)

Tadnya, the season of water: the Talsura for this season has plumage 
of light blues, and lilacs. It has a sweet nature and a large amount of 
curiosity.
(March, April)

Yanya, the season of spring: This Talsura is all the colors of green
imaginable. It has alot of energy and loves poking it's nose into 
things.
(May, June)

Hashki, the season of fire: the Talsura for this season is bright orange
and is a fighter bird with a strong sense of home and family.
(July, August)

Falcandra, the season of Summer: The Talsura for this season looks 
very much like a robin red breast and has a wary nature, but once you 
have made it a friend it will never do you wrong.
(September, October, November)

The temperament of the Talsuran is believed to be told by the hair
and eyes, like a natural horoscope.

The Feather color is how the Talsuran-Talsura will act toward others, 
it has been known to change when the way s/he acts does. The eye 
color is how that one really is. For that reason their eyes have a 
'second eyelid', a white film which makes it impossible to see their eye 
color when dropped, as it is not wise to let one you don't trust know 
how you will react to things.

There is a total of three percent of the population not born on a certan
season, those have attrubutes of both, and higher telepathic powers. 
They frequently choose to mind-bond with Talsura born between 
seasons as they are, but nessecarily between the same ones. They 
can only do this once, with one Talsura. If the bond is broken, it is 
similar to if a marrige-bond was broken between Vulcans, with little or 
no warning. The Talsuran/Talsura will go into shock, and not many 
survive this.

The Talsura look like birds at birth, the average adult hight is 59 
inches.

It is not exceptible for the Talsurans to cage a bird, sentenant or not.
