For the purpose to run discussions within Holoworld Fleet  as well as for 
announcements, we have mailing lists, set up on the club's WWW site for 
the Holoworld Fleet

It is basically an email address where you send your contribution to and from
where it is mailed on automatically to all subscribers without you being
forced to set up and maintain a growing and ever changing mailing list.

There are several general mailing lists, one for interactive discussion of
club issues (hwf-discussion@yahoogroups.com), one for announcements of
administrative nature only (hwf-announce@yahoogroups.com) and one for discussions
of Starfleet Engineering questions (hwf-engineering@yahoogroups.com).

You are required to subscribe yourself to the announcement list so you won't
miss anything important and we invite you to subscribe yourself to the
discussion list as well as to contribute there, but you are not required to
if you don't want to. The engineering list finally is open to everyone
interested, but we ask you to make your wish to contribute known to the list
maintainer beforehand.

* To subscribe do the following:

  Send a blank e-mail listname-subscribe@yahoogroups.com from your e-mail address
  Subject line doesn't matter
  
  example: john_doe@fbi.org wants to subscribe to the discussion and annoucne list

	He would send 2 blank e-mails (1 to each address below) from that address to:

        hwf-discussion-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
        hwf-announce-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

* To remove yourself do the following:

  Send a blank email to listname-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com
  Subject line doesn't matter
	
	Specifically:
	
		hwf-discussion-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com
	   or
		hwf-announce-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

* To send mail to the recipients of the discussion list, send your email to

  hwf-discussion@yahoogroups.com

* Please do not send to the announcement list, which is moderated and is for
  fleetwide announcments by administration only.
