Disguised as and equipped like the locals, they are the second team to go down. SCPO Valarn Taya, the ship's Alpha-One Task Force leader, is with them. They enter the basement of their target building. Rademach scouts ahead and finds about fifteen hostage-takers, none older than 25 years. They don't want to kill them, but they don't want to risk any of them warning the other hostage takers either. Rademach and Valarn will create a diversion, pretending to be a couple that accidentally entered the building looking for a private spot. The SpecOps team neutralizes one of the guards and H'llstam, the shapeshifter, takes his place. When she gives her signal, Arkanis, Cady and Hanara beam onto the defensive shield surrounding the embassy. Hanara disables the shield and they float down towards the embassy's roof. The hostage are held in the lower basement. They discuss how to get there. Foulau, a believer in the old prophecies that name everyone from outside the Cocoon - "Telmarc's Veil" - devil's spawn, is about to meet with the Federation ambassador. ******************* ************************ USS ATHENE CO: Cpt Demetrius Simms GM: Joey *********************** Now that the nebulae are gone, aFCO Kallesin wants to return the aliens back to their rudimental ships without being detected. Meanwhile, CSO Teel'a, still dominated by Arogos, completes the separation of the Athene, and is using the battle section to destroy the other part of the ship... Arogos continues to toy with the Athene; he fires a few shots, than disappears, and than again returns to deliver his load of phaser fire. The new Captain, Spencer Doon, is beamed aboard the Athene While Arogos is toying with the Athene, Ens. Kallesin has sneaked aboard the battle section using a shuttle. After a great fight with the feline CSO dominated by Arogos, Kallesin managed to disable Teel'a, and to recapture the battle bridge. A cell is now being constructed for the evil entity, and a medical team is being sent to assist the unconscious CSO. ************************************************* ******************************** USS HERMES CO: GM: ******************************** De-commissioned Dry Docked for re-fit ************************** Condor Squadron Commander ************************** Branch Admiral Earle Hayes. ************************** ***************** DS101 CO: Captain Alyza GM: Don ***************** ************************** Lt Juuza Nanto continues his Command Grade Training sceniario. Under attack by three Scree-Waa vessels, the HIKARU manages to destroy one of the smaller. But the other vessel press the attack. Heavily damaged Nanto looks for a hiding place and finally finds a dense asteroid field. He orders a course change for this asteriod field. Still pursued by the Scree-Waa vessels Nanto orders and emergency stop. As the Scree-Waa vessel overshot the stopped HIKARU, Nanto opens fire. One vessel is destroyed, but his allow the surviving vessel to close with the HIKARU and pound it with energy. HIKARU's shield are dropping rapidly, destruction is only minutes away. Nanto conceives a plan to use the transporter to place several photo torpedoes onboard the surviving Scree-vee warship. The problem is that there is no remaining method to remotely detonate those torpedoes. A HIKARU officer, Chief Petty Officer Shon, volunteers to beam over with the torpedoes and detonate them on site. He realizes that this would mean his own death as well. Unable to find another plan which would allow his ship and remaining crew to survive, Nanto reluctantly agrees. Shon and the torpedoes are soon beamed aboard the Scree-Waa warship. Seconds later the enemy vessel is only a dust cloud of atoms. Ensign Johnny Nelson, CMO, and the android SUE become accustomed to sharing quarters. Captain Alyza stops the CGT of Nanto. Cpt Alyza is dissatified with Nanto decision to send Shon on a sucide mission. She tells Nanto that there may be times when such orders are necessary, but there are almost always alternatives. Now that he has time to think without the Scree-Waa warship bearing down on the HIKARU, Nanto suggests an alternative or two. Ensign Lucas Brooks arrives to assume the duties of Chief Engineering Officer ************************************* USS NIGHTINGALE CO: Captain Pol Canon GM: ************************************* NO REPORT SUBMITTED ************************************ ************************************* USS YEAGER CO: Commander Rudolf Fischer GM: Joey ************************************* A terrible thing happened on the Yeager; the ship's counselor has died because of the frequent use of the illegal Trillium-D\4 substance. Together with OPS Thull, CSO Readdy starts an investigation in order to discover how the CNS obtained the deadly substance without being detected. CO Fischer goes to his quarters hoping to get some sleep; unfortunately, he never wakes up because he is having a strange 'dream' that seems to be real, and he is not alone in this dreaming; the CNS is also there. After performing some scans, Dr. Xixx concludes that the CO is unconscious, with an unusually high brain activity, and any attempt to wake him up could permanently damage his brain. In the meantime, the ship is approaching the unknown M-class planet, and so far, sensors haven't detected anything strange in the atmosphere that could prevent the Yeager for sending down a planetary probe, and later, away teams. According to the initial scans, there is nothing strange preventing the Yeager from entering orbit of the M-class planet. Meanwhile, the investigation about the death of Donald X. Philips continues. .The crew has sent a probe on the surface of the M-class planet, and the first readings reveal a group of strange ape-like beings; CSO Readdy wonders why they were not detected by ordinary sensors as well. Meanwhile, CO Rudolf Fischer is still unconscious, and his neural activity is very high; in his 'dreams', together with Lt Phillips, he meets with Captain Pol Cannon, CO of the USS Nightingale. The three men soon find out they are not alone, there are thousands of ant-like aliens standing before them... **************************************** NRPG: The Fleet Situation Reports for the month of July, 2004 have been combined into this one report Respectfully Submitted Don Ratliff Fleet GM fleetgm-put the at symbol here -yahoogroups -put a dot here - com
