The alien vessel responds in no way at all to the Horizon. The Horizon is
following it for the time being.

CO Burke has received new orders. They are to visit Telmarc III in the
Saishan sector, the centre of activity of a vast commercial and trading
empire. The Telmarc are generally friendly towards the Federation, but they
are unhappy with the Federation's control of the Cocoon Portal. The Horizon
will be another in a line of Starfleet vessels that recently visited Telmarc
in an effort to maintain good relations. Burke calls a staff meeting.

The Athene's crew comes up with an ingenious plan in order to save the
aliens and respect the Prime Directive simultaneously; they want to
beam the aliens directly into Doctor Severn's Project Clay transporter
buffer, which has been modified in order to hold sixty persons for an
extended period of time.

After four successful transports something goes wrong, and a sample of
the nebulae is accidentally beamed aboard, causing additional problems.

A new CSO arrives aboard, Ensign Teel'a Hgwashh Nergh An'allein, and
she immediately starts to collaborate with the rest of the crew.

Angelo frees Morgan from the Brig and escapes.  As he escapes he sets off
subspace explosives that he had previously attached to the stations's outer
hull.   These subspace explosives do little damage to the station itself,
but all large vessels withing a million kilometers suffers heavy damage to
their comm systems, warp and impulse drives.  Edmond and Nanto are able to
get a rubabout functioning and set out in search of Angelo's cloaked
shuttle.  Angelo's associates, understandably upset at Angelo's betrayal,
steal a station runabout and begin their own search.

Meanwhile Angelo and Morgan decide whether to escape and enjoy their
ill-gotten fortune or seek vengence for the destruction of Morgan's
asteroid.  They decide that vengence would be the better meal and make their
'retirement' more sweet.

OPS Thull is suspended from her regular duties because of the duel with
Kem'luo, and an investigation is started over the matter; CNS Phillips
is appointed as Mara's official counsel, while CEO Holtz and CSO Readdy
are working on a holographical reconstruction of the duel that might
serve as a proof
