Deadpool
Vs.
Zealot

        Not exactly a happy couple or one of the better matches that I came up with, but I still put it in, if for anything, the humour value.

        I admit it.  Originally when I was coming up with inspiration at the local comics shop, I saw a poster of Zealot and decided to put a Marve character up against her.  My first hunch was Lady Deathstrike, but I didn't think she would go too well in contrast.  Second, Psylocke caught my attention as a humourless warrior woman, but I already had her off fighting the Spice Girls.

        Second to last, I thought to myself "Who's the warrior woman from the Marvel universe who talks and acts like she has had her sense of humour sergically removed?"  Elektra.  This was the perfect match for Zealot, besides Wolverine, who might put up a terrific fight.

        As I flipped through my binders at home, searching for the perfect picture of Elektra to scan, my eyes came to rest on Deadpool.  A Weapon X alumnus.  A huge arsenal.  But, the thing that I thought was good about him fighting Zealot was the contrast in character.  Zealot has a no-nonsense, get-down-to-business attitude against Deadpool;  history's greatest wise-acre.  Zealot can come up with all the threats she wants and Deadpool's comebacks would make her so angry she could have a nervous breakdown if restrained.

        Zealot would win however, no contest.  The action may be lame and the ending predictable, but the hilarious dialogue would more than make up for that.
