Welcome to my "Virtual Ogham" Project.
This site includes a complete set of Ogham characters
including traditional divinitory associations for each.

Ultimately, I hope to build an interactive divination tool
(probably nothing too elaborate) here as well.

If you are unfamiliar with the Ogham (or "Celtic Tree Alphabet")it is a style of writing employed in the Celtic lands of uncertain antiquity, but linked to a variety of trees, which were sacred to the druids, and in some instances, to months of the year. The majority of existing ogham inscriptions are on boundary markers and memorials. Nowadays, and just possibly during Celtic times as well, the ogham characters are often employed in divination.

Now I have get to work on the divination tool.

Wish me luck & come back soon.

From time to time, I expect to post information (both sacred
and historical), about the Tree Alphabet on this page.
In the interim, I recommend the following:

Each is highly idiosyncratic, but in combination, invaluable.
