Okay, icky icky icky. Peattie was a mental case and and the body of his daughter was really...just unnecessary. And the bodies of the father-in-law and wife were gross and...why must the writers/directors/etc. feel the need to gross us out this season?!?!?!
The Scully/Mulder interplay in the episode was pretty good. Definately funny, with the whole "keep me guessing" thing. But overall there weren't too many good lines.
At the end, it was interesting that Peattie was trying to avoid involving Scully by merely incapacitating rather than killing Scully. When Mulder found the doll outside the cabin, my brother and I were really wondering whether he would get the nails out or run to the cabin (actually, we voted run) but it was good that he helped Scully first.
Overall, this episode was not very good. Hope there's a better one next time.
