Sagar's second most eligible bachelor, the Overlord never lets a little thing like only half a sword and bad fashion sense get in his way. In the Evil Plan department, he goes for the most convoluted, loophole-ridden options available and his hobbies include mind control, poisoning, spying on his enemies, kidnapping and general vandalism of property. Although he doesn't have a clue in the love department, he should by no means be considered a boring date.
Seen in the episodes: "Search for the Starsword," "The Quest," "City of the Ancient Ones," "The Overlord's Big Spell," "Spacewrecked," "Tree of Evil," "Kingdom of Neptul" and briefly in "Lightning City of the Clouds." |
Number Two in the Evil Hit Parade, the Vizir is the Overlord's right-hand man, as well as champion boot-licker and willing accomplice. A powerful sorcerer in his own right, the Vizir is often seen assisting his master in his evil undertakings. He is expert at conjuring and mind control.

Captain of a flying whaling ship, Nihilis captures air whales and, through use of a mind gem, turns them into servants of the Overlord. At some point, he lost his right hand to Warhoun, king of the air whales, and now harbors a vengeful obsession with the whale king. His wrist stump is fitted with powerful laser.
Nihilis attempted to use an unstable Starsword to attack Warhoun; the air whale retaliated and, with some help from Blackstar in the engine room, the whaling ship crashed. The last we saw of Nihilis, his daughter Leila was promising to get him to see the error of his ways. For his part, Nihilis was ambiguously silent on the matter of his redemption.

Kadray, the Lord of Time, uses his Time Sceptre to regress or speed up evolution to serve his purposes. In this case, he regresses the Sagar Tree into an acorn, which he then plans to toss into the Fountain of Fire; the offering will restore the Fountain to the source of evil it was in ancient times. Kadray rides a flying bull named Triton.
A stray shot from the Time Sceptre regressed Kadray back to an infant. He was last seen in the custody of the desert sprites, who are charged with his second upbringing.

Neptul is the king of Aquaria. Specially equipped with powers by the Overlord, Neptul was nevertheless unable to acquire the Starsword for his master when Blackstar, Klone and three Trobbits ended up in the underwater kingdom. Neptul was last seen with the Powersword, attempting to redeem his failure by firing at an unsuspecting Blackstar.

Typhot is the long-dead captain of a ghost ship that patrols the waters of the Sea of Tranquility. He also happens to be an ancestor of the Overlord, which may explain the latter's lousy fashion sense and penchant for horned helmets. Even in death, he is the nemesis of the Mermanites, who capsized his boat long ago; he captures and enslaves several by turning them into sea serpents. His plan for revenge on the Mermanites was thwarted when a case of Trobbit Knowledge Nuts accidentally fell into the water, enabling the serpents to revert to their true form. Typhot was last seen as a flying manta ray, heading off in the direction of the Overlord's Ice Castle, where he will--family or not--undoubtedly find a chilly reception.

The Ice King Crios was charged by the Overlord with capturing the sorceress Lelanna and her key to the Box of Seasons. Presumably, Crios' reward for doing this was to rule Winter on the Overlord's behalf. However, all did not go as planned when Lelanna foiled Crios by giving the key to Blackstar; the Ice King was forced to turn to Plan B: capture the Box of Seasons instead. The key was destroyed in the ensuing battle, but the Box was opened anyway thanks to the Starsword. Last we saw of Crios, he vanished in the face of the dawning spring.
