She has red hair, blue eyes, and her height varies from 5'2" to 5'5".

Scully had a dog named Queequeg who was eaten by an alligator in the 3rd season episode Quagmire. We miss you Queequeg.

She has a tatoo of a snake swalling its tail on her back.

She got this in the episode Never Again. Coincidentally, this is the same symbol of Chris Carters other show Millennium.

Her parents are William and Margaret Scully. Her father was a captain in the US Navy. He served in the Cuban Missle Crisis in 1961. He died in December 1993.

Her siblings are an older brother, William "Bill" Scully Jr., older sister, Melissa Scully who died in 1995, and a younger brother, Charles Scully. Her sister was murdered in the 3rd theason episode The Blessing Way by Luis Cardinal when he and Krycek were trying to kill Scully and Melissa was in her apartment looking for her and she was mistaken as Scully.

Scully has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Maryland (1986), and a Medical degree in residency in forensic pathology. Her senior thesis was "Einstein's Twin Paradox: A New Interpretation."

In 1990 she joined the FBI right after medical school. She taught for two years at Quantico Academy. In 1992 she was assigned by Section Chief Scott Belvins to the X-Files section with Special Agent Fox Mulder.

There was a man named Agent (Sean or Danny) Pendrell and he was crushing on Scully since the beginning.
In the 4th season episode Tempus Fugit both him and Scully were in a bar and he stepped in front of her just as a man shot at her and he was shot in the chest. In the second part of that episide, Max, he died.

In October 1994 she was abducted by Duane Barry. During this she had an implant put in the back of her neck which gave her cancer and her overies were taken so she cannot have children. But in the 5th season episodes Emily/Christmas Carol she learned that she did have a daughter that was born while she was gone. Her name was Emily.

Unfortanetly Emily was sick and she died. Scully was in the process of adopting her after her first adoptive parents were killed.

In the season 7 finale, Requiem, after Mulder was abducted, Scully reveiled to Skinner that she was pregnent. They didn't reveil the father, but many people have guesses.

In a season 8 episode, Scully was in the hospital for "abdominal pain." Some are saying she had a miscarrage.
