The Ladies O'Rourke

by Lady Isabella O'Rourke

Well, from out of the emerald isle we arrived
With our brothers and cousins in tow.
All redheads and ravens with dangerous cravins
All mischievous wenches you know.
We never mind flirtin, but you might end up hurtin
if you take our good natures too far
As some rogues have discovered, their motives uncovered,
wound up belly up on the bar.

Oh, the ladies O'Rourke are a fun-loving sort
But beware of incurring our wrath
For more than one lord who went back on his word
Woke up with a sword in his.....
Well, we're known for our hearts and a few other parts
And we'll fight and we'll drink with the best
We'll sing until dawn til the Tullys is gone
Then we'll go put our lords to the test.

Oh, Lyric and Belle have been known to raise hell
Though their different as day is to night.
Their sisters united and if one gets slighted,
You'll find you have both twins to fight.
Our youngest named Gwen has a weakness for men
And she's known to lead young lads astray
We really can't blame her and no need to tame her
We all kind of like her that way.

-chorus-

Our sister Cathlin,is immune to all sin
She's truly an innocent maid
For if she grants favors, the priest he will save her
As long as her tithes are all paid
Sister Iriel's free, and it's quite plain to see
That the Scot held her captive too long
She thinks all men are sheepish, blowhardy, and creepish
Save one who keeps holding on strong

--chorus--

Our cousin Etain has a sword arm that's mean
And she holds honor close to her heart
So after she slays you, defeats and fillets you
She'll buy you a drink at the bar.
Cousin Eleanor's grand and has huge tracks of land
But her temper's a terrible sight
So beware if you're letching, you'll run for protection
When you find out this wolfie can bite.

-chorus-
