Things were definately getting stranger. Much, much stranger... Azel tried to coherently explain the last couple of hours. "So after I got stuck in the tunnel with the kangaskhan, this really wierd guy with glasses ran threw and punched a hole in the wall and left, screaming something about "Revenge will be mine at last Ranma!", so I figured, might as well get out while the going's good, and headed back here... and then I saw THAT." Kailan nodded. It was after all expected that she might have a bit of a reaction to seeing his head split open and an alternate personality jump out... These things just don't happen everyday. "At least I hope so.." Kailan muttered under his breath. Azel chose to ignore the comment and tackle the larger issue. "So what do we do next?" "We?", Kailan replied. "No.. not we. I'm going out.. this whole dressing up thing was over the top for me. I'm going to find out about some other things." "Oh greatttt.." Azel replied sarcastically. "Just skipp out like Ryoko did. Well I'm still going to find the secret weapon and find out what the heck that wierd guy was talking about. It might be important." A bit annoyed and slightly hysterical, Azel jumped up angerly and stalked off down the long hallway, leaving Kailan behind. "I'll find it I will, I will.. Just watch me." She walked straight past the marble statues and the pool and nearly tripped over the prone form of Kuno on the floor. "I'll just take these, my dear sir." Azel grinned fiercly as she removed a ring of keys from Kuno's belt. Up ahead in the corridor, Azel heard an ungodly sound. Voices drifted by. "No way in heck you're taking that! It may by the special spring!" "Haha! It's mine Ranma! I don't know how you always manage to return no matter what people do to you, but you won't return from this one! It's permanet and it's MY revenge!" *Could this be the special weapon?!* Azel ran foward, her hands falling to her belt momentarily. *Oh well D'oh! Why didn't I bring them out before..* "I call you, Vulpix!" Vullpix streamed out and stretched, watching Azel run to the voices which were coming nearer. "Come on!," Azel cried. "Vul, vul, vul... vuuullll." Suddenly, the large wooden doors at the end of the hallways burst open and two men flew through. The strange man in glasses and a long robe she had seen earlier was carrying a pot of water in a reverent manner. The other, probably Ranma in guy form, was bounding after him. "I'll get that water, Moose!" Ranma yelled, jumping over a large marble statue. "Nev- nev-... oh no! Who let a furry ani- ani- animal in here! Ach-ooo!" Moose flew into a hurrendous sneezing fit, dropping the water over Azel's head. Ranma cried out and made a dash for it, only to halt at the site of Vulpix. "That's not a cat, is it? YEEP! It's a cat thing!" Ranma stopped nearly completly in mid-air and twisted away. This had the unfortunate effect of letting the entire content of the pot fall upon Azel's head. The water splashed down, and in a second's thought, Azel changed into a small, red-brown, vulpix. Azel stood stone-still, swamped by her clothes and totally bewildred by the change. The two men who had charged into the run had started screaming at each other, and furthermore, she had absolutly no clue what the hell had happened. One though circled through her mind... *Ohshitohshitohshitohshitohmyfrickinlord...* "What the hell happened! AHHH!" Her Vulpix turned to her and gave her a slight glare. "How unbecoming. Vulpix's never panic. You'll give us a bad name." She stopped to swipe at her fur with her tongue. "And by the way... it's about time. You guys are quite slow to get the point, I'll just have to tell you myself." Azel's mind raced around and pounced on something that seemed to make sense. "The point?" Her vulpix sighed. "Silly, silly humans... the point. The world's going to end, you know. And unfortunately, we have only you people to stop it..."
