"Eric? Who's that?" he said, turning to Torak. "My son..." Torak answered. "Can you fly?" he said to Torak. "Y..." Torak started, but before Torak could finish the word, he was gone. As soon as he heard Torak starting to say 'yes', he ran over, grabbed Ryoko, then flew through the ceiling. "Where is he?" he shouted out to Torak down below. Torak flew up after Noname. "Follow me Noname" Torak shouted. "I'll guide us there. Torak flew in the direction of the store. Ryoko squirmed in Noname's hands. "Hey! Hey! Could you PLEASE be a bit more gentle? And do NOT drop me! I'm not a bird right now!" "Sorry..." he said, loosening his grip a bit. "Thank you," Ryoko said, looking forward to the direction they were going. "There!" Torak said pointing to a building two blocks away. "I..." he started, but was cut short by the sound of gun fire. He looked down to see what it was, and saw the all too recognizable emblem of Umbrella. "Take her!" he said, flying up to Torak and handing him Ryoko. "Hey! Wait-a-minute!" Ryoko was saying. "You go check on your son, I'll deal with them!" he shouted out flying down towards the dozen or so Umbrella S.W.A.T. members. *This is NOT a good day to piss me off...* He cracked his knuckles, then reached back and pulled out his sword. "FIRE!" one of the Umbrella S.W.A.T.s said. The bullets whizzed past him, some almost hitting. "Put me down!" shouted Ryoko, squirming in Torak's hands, her eyes never leaving Noname's form. She winces as she sees bullets fly towards him. "Torak, hurry!" She thrashed wildly, but he kept his hold on her. "No.. It's too dangerous for one like you." "What do you mean by that?! Lemme go!" She elbowed him violently and he let her go. She fell to the ground with a grunt but quickly took out her yo-yo. Bullets were flying, people were shouting, and he was in the center of all the chaos. He loved it. By nature, he never liked hurting people. He's never been sadistic in any way. But that all changed when they killed Pat and Scyther. Now he wanted Umbrella to not only die, but to suffer. "Come get it you murdering assh*les!" he said, jumping up and coming down with his sword on one of the Umbrella men. He was about to shot the man behind him, but saw the now familiar yo-yo of Ryoko's go flying by and striking the man in the head, knocking him out. "Ryoko! Get out of here before you get...ARG!" he was hit in the back by a ki blast. He went sailing across the street and smacked into the building there. he peeled himself off the wall, turned around, and saw his sensei. Sensei Kamiya. The man that taught him everything he knew about martial arts, save the ki techniques. Those he picked up on his travels. "So, still the student are you? I taught you better than to get hit from the back!" Kamiya turned his attention to Ryoko. "Ah, and who may this be? Not Ryoko Kuonji by any chance?" Kamiya said, picking up a bucket of water from beside him. "I'm not too sure, but you are cursed from the accursed springs, no?" *BAM* *BAM* He shot the last to remaining Umbrella S.W.A.T.s. "Kamiya, leave her out of it! It's me Weber wants!" he shouted out across the street. "But I'm here too! We can all play together!" The figure that was becoming all too familiar to him stepped out of the shadows. It was his clone. The two of them were dressed exactly the same. *Shit...so who hit me in the back? My clone or Kamiya? I don't ever recall Kamiya using ki attacks...* "So, student, are you and your friend ready to fight?" His clone stepped over to Kamiya and the two of them got into their ready stances. "Ryoko..." he started. Ryoko looked at the two men warily. "Who are you?" she asked, backing away, arms up in a defensive stance. "Kamiya, don't involve her!" shouted out Noname. Or who seemed to be Noname. Now there seemed to be two Nonames in front of her eyes. She blinked confusedly. "But she's already pretty involved, don't you think? Fighting along your side?" "I didn't-" began Noname. "Doesn't matter if you wanted her to or not. She fought alongside of you, no?" "What's going on?" asked Ryoko, her eyes darting from the Nonames to Kamiya. "The one who looks like me next to Kamiya is a clone," explained Noname. "A clone?" "Yes..." "Who's Kamiya?" "I taught your friend everything he knows!" shouted Kamiya. "Not everything." "Most everything then," grinned Kamiya. "Can we get started? I wanna see how this pretty face fights!" Kamiya winked at Ryoko. "Ryoko, get out of here. It's too dangerous!" "I can handle it!" she said, glaring at him defiantly. "I'm no weakling!" "You'll get hurt." "If she wants to fight, then let her fight! Let's get on with it!" "Listen," continued Ryoko, turning towards Noname. "I can take care of myself. You worry about your own behind." Noname frowned. "Are we ready yet?!" shouted Kamiya. "Fine," muttered Noname. "We're on." Kamiya smiled. "Perfect..." Kamiya leaped up into the air towards them, and the clone fired a ki blast at the two of them. They dodged the blast, but Kamiya came down foot first onto his left leg. There was a crack, and he fell to the ground. Ryoko fired her yo-yo at Kamiya, but the clone threw a knife across the street, lodging itself into the yo-yo and pinning it to the build's wall. "Here!" he shouted out, pulling the yo-yo he had made for the tournament out of his pocket. He tossed the yo-yo to Ryoko, a knife from the clone just missing it. "Thanks!" Ryoko shouted back at him, sending the yo-yo flying once more. "DANNY!" he hears from his left. He looks over and sees Pat and Scyther run out from a side ally. *SHE'S ALIVE!* "Patricia! Long time no see!" the clone says just loud enough so that he could hear. The clone and Scyther start fighting, and Kamiya gets up, recovered from the blow by Ryoko. "That was very stupid, my dear..." Kamiya says to Ryoko, walking towards her. Ryoko backed away a bit, her yo-yo ready to strike out at him. Kamiya smirked and continued advancing. "Am I frightening you? Don't be. I won't bite... hard." Ryoko narrowed her eyes. "Don't underestimate me." "Now when did I do that?" he said, lifting his eyebrows as he grinned at her. He suddenly lashed out with a spin kick towards her head. Ryoko immediately ducked and sweeped the ground with her leg knocking Kamiya to the ground. Rolling away, she sent her yo-yo at Kamiya. *Hrm. It's lighter than usual...* she thought, frowning as the yo-yo overshot her target and buried itself into the ground. Kamiya got back to his feet and returned to fighting position. "Aha. Not too bad." "I would have seriously hurt you if I didn't misjudge the way to throw my yo-yo," growled Ryoko. "Perhaps. And perhaps not." He leapt at her again, fists flying through the air towards her. Her movements restricted by the yo-yo buried into the ground, she struggled to fend off his attacks. She took many blows to her arms and body, but she managed to keep the most power of his attacks mainly on her arms. She grimaced and yanked hard on the yo-yo, dislodging it from the ground. It whirled around and wrapped around one of the thrashing Kamiya's arms. She tugged on the string and the cord tightened, cutting into his clothing. "What do you have to say now?" grinned Ryoko. "Don't be too sure you have me." "But don't I?" "Maybe..." He suddenly leapt at her and the cord loosened from around his arm. "...NOT!" he shouted as he kneed her in the stomach. She collapsed to her knees, wheezing as she tried to regain her breath. "Lesson number 1: Never be so sure of yourself." He walked up to her and gave her a swift kick in the ribs. "Number 2: Learn to recover quickly." He gave her another kick, this time much stronger. It sent her flying into a wall, which collapsed behind her. Kamiya stretched and tapped his foot as he waited for Ryoko to get back up. "Now is that all? I'm not underestimating, but... you really ought to get out of that dirt. It's unsanitary and all." Kamiya smirked and went to the pile of rubble where Ryoko was buried. "Eh?" He poked at the rocks. Suddenly, a hand burst out and grabbed him by the shirt. A large green glow surrounded Ryoko as she emerged from the pile of rocks. "What-?" said Kamiya, noticing a faint pink fog emerging out of nowhere and surrounding the area. Still holding Kamiya, Ryoko began hovering into the air, her eyes closed. She began glowing more brightly and her mouth moved, murmuring soft words as she concentrated her energy... *DAMNIT!* He wanted to help Ryoko, but his leg was broken. He couldn't stand. *Pat...* His thought drifted to Pat and Scyther, fighting his clone. He looked over and saw his clone kicking Scyther in the chest. Scyther flew back into a wall, falling to the ground, an indent in the wall. *BAM* Pat fired a round at the clone. The clone twisted to the side and the bullet whizzed by. In the twist, he reached into his coat and pulled out his own gun, firing at Pat. *BAM* The bullet hit Pat in the chest, blood spraying out her back. She fell to the ground, twitched, and a pool of blood formed around her body. *PAT!* He started to crawl towards Pat, his leg dragging on the street. The pain. Then Scyther got back up and leaped at the clone once again...and the clone fired a round into Scyther, hitting him in the arm. He was thrown back a yard from the impacted, and landed close to Pat. The clone turned to face him, about to say something, but stopped. He turned to see what had caught the clone's eye, then he saw Ryoko floating in mid-air, a strong aura coming from her. *What the hell...* The mist accumulated around the area, becoming extremely thick. Kamiya could barely see Ryoko who still held him tightly. He narrowed his eyes and kicked at her. He heard a satisfying thump as he connected with her shin but Ryoko's eyes remained closed. Kamiya growled and brought his fists down upon the arm that held him. With a sickening crunch, Ryoko's arm bent out of shape and Kamiya was freed. He fell to the ground and watched as Ryoko returned her now broken arm to her side but remained in deep concentration. The others in the area looked around confusedly. "What... Ryoko?" called Noname. He squinted as the fog grew thick around him, obscuring his view of everything. Still, a green glow still emanated from where Ryoko hovered. *Kamiya... Unnamed Opponent... Kamiya...* Suddenly, Ryoko's eyes flashed open. Kamiya and the clone were locked in place as the bright light from her eyes broke through the pink fog. The fog condensed into a ball rapidly in one hand that she held out in front of her. "Sakura Bakufuu!" shouted Ryoko. The pink fog bomb exploded loudly, covering everything in a blinding flash of pink light. Noname threw his arms over his face, shielding his eyes from the light. Then all was silent. He opened his eyes, and saw Ryoko laying on the ground. Her arm didn't look right...it was twisted back in the opposite direction. *Broken...* He looked across the street to Pat and Scyther. Both of them were still on the ground, soaking in their own blood... ...but the clone and Kamiya were nowhere to be seen. One thought now drived his mind with the knowledge that they were alone. *Hospital...* He needed to get Pat and Scyther to a hospital. He resumed his crawl through the street when an energy ball came at him. Unable to move out of the way fast enough, he braced himself for impact. "Heh heh heh...not as fast as before I see..." The figure of Astinius floated in for down the street. "Foolish Torak. Does he seriously think I would go after the most obvious target? Now you on the other hand...you managed to scratch my armor...I cannot allow you to live..." He rolled onto his back, starting to gather energy. "Ah, ever diligent in your efforts...oh! Who is this?" Astinius said walking over to Pat's body. "Leave her alone!" he shouted out, shooting the energy ball at Astinius. Astinius easily moved out of the way of the blast, it hitting the wall of the building, going through it and the next three. Laughing, Astinius reached down and picked up the blood soaked Pat. "So, you love her?" Astinius smiled, pulling out his sword and placing it to Pat's throat. "Leave her alone..." he said through clenched teeth. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Astinius laughed, dropping Pat to the ground. Pat thudded on the ground, then looked up, the fall waking her up. "Wha...what hap..." Astinius' sword came down on Pat, what little blood Pat had left squirting out. He snapped. He leaped up to his feet, running at Astinius, the adrenaline rushing through his body ignoring the broken leg. Astinius swung up with his sword, but he somersaulted over Astinius, pulled out his sword, and swung. Astinius parried with his own sword, and the two were locked in a sword fight. All that was on his mind was to kill Astinius, no matter what it took. He was hammering so hard on Astinius that the alien was forced onto one knee. All Astinius could do to stop the attacks was hold his sword above his head. He hammered on the sword a second, then Astinius rolled on his back and kicked up, hitting him in the chest and kicking him over Astinius into the nearby building. "Idiotic humans!" Astinius yelled running at him. The two engaged in combat once again, until eventually Astinius, by a fluke, interlocked their sword arms together. With his arm in a feeble position, Astinius twisted it, snapping his arm back. He reeled back, the adrenaline not preventing the pain. "Now, watch while I finish what I started..." Astinius said with an evil grin, walking towards Pat. He raised his sword up above Pat's head... "KAIOKEN TIMES TWO!" Without another thought, he flared up and flew towards Astinius' back. "KAMEHAMEHA!" The blue energy beam shot out at Astinius, striking him in the back, sending him flying through multiple buildings blocks down. He quit the kaioken, and collapsed to the ground next to Pat. *I'm here...I won't leave you again...I promise...*
