Scimitar smiled as he passed by the gates of Saffron City. Mewtwo looked bemused, if anything. Saffron, after all, other than being the home of Silph Co., was also home to Sabrina, one of the greatest Psychic Pokemon trainers of all time. They already noticed the attention they were drawing. "Hey, is that a-?" "That looks like a-" "THAT'S A MEW!" Scimitar tried not to laugh as Mewtwo facefaulted. *Gee, strongest in the world, and yet you're less popular.* /Shut up. Just, just shut up, Scimitar./ "Hey!" a guy yelled from across the crowd that formed around them. "I challenge you! My Onix against that thing! I'll show how a real trainer makes his Pokemon obidient!" Mewtwo flinched. Scimitar put on his "now you did it" face, and answered.... "You're on." Sabrina tried not to laugh so hard. Ever since Ash's Haunter stayed with her, laughter could always be heard. Wether it was pulling its eyes off its own face, or blowing itself up, the little Ghost Pokemon could always make her laugh. Suddenly, her sense came alive! It was strange. She never felt like this, at least, not since she discovered her powers. She and Haunter left her gym, heading towards the nearby park. Suddenly, she could see the cause. *Two guys. Probably a testosterone induced battle. Maybe a few insults on pride.* she reasoned. The guy to her left, dressed in shorts, with a bandana around his head, called out an Onix. She turned to the guy on her right. He stood there, in a black leather jacket, with a matching baseball cap. His black ponytail reached his waist, and strapped over his shoulder, a large sword of some kind. He kept his arms crossed, and in a barely audiable whisper, said "Mewtwo, he's all yours." *Did he say Mew?* she thought. *No, MewTWO. What in the world is a Mewtwo?* A Pokemon, resembling a cat, standing a bit shorter than his trainer, walked onto the battle field. His purple tail waved back and forth as he seemed to estimate his opponent. *So, another trainer who lets his Pokemon run free. Lets see how good he is.* "Onix, Skull Bash!" "BEOOOOORRRRREEE!!" The huge rock snake flew forwards, head first. "Mewtwo, barrier." Suddenly, the Onix bounced off an invisible wall. /So, you ready to give up?/ Sabrina's eyes went wide. *A Pokemon that can speak with humans?!* The Onix began to rise again. "Onix, bind it now!" The Onix wrapped its body around Mewtwo, trapping it. Yet, the gray-and-purple cat seemed to smile. "Mewtwo, break free with Strength." Ponytail said. Mewtwo's body began to glow, and, with a cry, broke free of Onix's bind. "Now, finish with Psychic." Mewtwo's body began to glow bright blue, and suddenly, a beam of enegy shot out at Onix. _KA-BOOM!_ That ended the match. Ponytail walked over to Mewtwo. "The winner, and still champion, Mewtwo!" he yelled. "It is rather sudden, you asking me here." Scimitar said in between bites. It turned out that Sabrina was watching his match, and decided to ask him over for dinner. "Well, you handle your Mewtwo so well." she commented. "Oh, I'm not his trainer." "Oh?" "Yeah, he justs hangs out with me. I give him ideas, he decides to use them." Mewtwo smiled from where he was eating. /And don't you foget it!/ he said, pointing his finger at Scimitar. Scimitar sweatdropped. "Like I said, a mind of his own." Sabrina smiled. "You came here not just because I asked you, didn't you?" Scimitar grinned sheepishly. "Well, yeah, I guess. I need some advice." "On....?" Mewtwo waited for the infamous "Have you seen a ball just like this?" question thats been said lately. He was quite surprised when Scimitar said, "well, there's this girl..." "You like her?" Sabrina asked. "I'm infactuated with her. I can't get her out of my mind. I'd like to tell her, but, I may end up hurting her" *physically, that is* "Well, if you like her that much, and you care about her, I think you'll make the right choice." *The right choice.* he thought. He spent the night at the gym. Sabrina was kind enough to lend him some HMs and TMs, as well as supplies. /So, where to?/ "Nerima." /Oh? And why?/ Scimitar grinned. "There's a girl I have to go see."
