Short Background

 Hotaru first appears in episode 112 of Sailor Moon's third season (Sailor Moon Super S in Japan.)She's all perky and happy and sickly, plus she's trey pretty. For Some Reason She saves chibiusa's Stupid hat and the two become instant friends (poor Hotaru.) Unfortunatly Hotaru has a past a big a very mean nasty unnice past.When hataru was little her father Professer Tomoe was conducting experiments with space and time (Anime rule #28 NEVER mess with the space time continum especially when you gots kids.) And Evil being from another glaexy was attracted to his machine and nucked his lab while he Hotaru and some of his associates were there. Hotaru was killed in the blast and professor Tomoe was barely alive with one eye and a huge guilt complex. The evil entity promised t o give hoataru back her life if Tomoe would give over his soul. Tomoe agress and Hotaru is brought back to life But she and her father are now possed by evil entitys bent on resurecting the evil force known as Pharoah 90 (insert thunder and dramtic type musica here).Hotaru is now a split personality the Evil almost Mistress 9 Hotaru and that happy perky sickly but nice to chibiusa Hotaru. Throw into the Mix a Third personality Sailor Saturn who only appears when the world is about to end and you've got one heck of a kid.

I'm not gonna tell you what happens in the rest of Sailor Moon S it'd kill it for ya. I can however tell you that hotaru is a shy sweet girl, whose kind to animals and chibiusa. All hotaru realy wants is a friend but she's scared she'll hurt that friend somehow, or that they'll be frightend of her strange ability to heal (her fellow students think's she's a gross freakbag). She's smart, kinda goth and an all around Nice girl unless you have a pure heart then she'll eat your butt quicker than fat folks go at a buffet table.Although she is one of the more tragic figures of Sailor Moon Hotaru always retains her smile. Wasn't that a sweet note to end it on? damn i should go into the greeting card buisness and make Money!
