The one thing that always rather disgusted me about the approach to female minotaurs (when there was any at all) was the insistence on not only smaller horns, but a lack of any and all bovine characteristics except for the head. In my drawings, I prefer hooves, tails, digitigrade hind legs, and a body almost entirely covered with fur. Some have also commented on the fact that I make my female minotaurs 'flat-chested'. This is because I think a minotaur woman would remain relatively flat until she got pregnant; only then, like many animals, would her breasts start to swell, remaining until the calf/child was weaned, then receding. For the purposes of this tour, however, I'm assigning that trait to the northern tribes of minotaur, like the Scottish Highland, as it would help more to conserve heat in cold climes, like the longer fur all over the body. For minotaurs from warmer habitats, obviously, this would not apply, and I intend to draw them with skin and a more human appearance.
