What-if sketch - mer-minotaur?

Drawn while high really late at night, when talking on the phone to a lunatic who was on acid.

Not really. *grins* My best friend and I do talk a lot on the phone though, and often about our roleplay characters. We go through novels and what-if scenarios, walking our characters through situations. What would they say if... what would happen if... what would they do... and so on, exploring the paths not taken in the actual roleplay we do and log and that ends up in black and white as a story. You'd be surprised at how one little change in a chain of events can spawn some incredible differences and storylines, as changes compound one another and progress. She bugged me to draw the result of one such supposition, where Blackavar, one of my minotaur characters, aquired a ring that would allow him to go swimming with a mermaid friend of his. I thought about it, and given minotaur build and such, decided no fish tail would be able to power him through the water. It would be more like... an orca's tail. And he'd feel strange without his fur, but it wouldn't be able to be the same type, so it would likely be more like seal fur. And so on. So, a sketch for Al, of an oceangoing Blackavar. Mer-minotaur? Nah. I gotta come up with a better name than that. Hmmm...
