You don't get to see too many tender moments or family scenes with minotaurs in them. There's a great deal I'm not happy with in this picture - leg angles, body angles - I've rarely drawn from the back like this and I'm still feeling it out. It would have been nice if I put in the earth they're standing on and a background too - they're floating out in space too much. But there are things I'm very happy with as well. Originally done as an illustration to one of my poems, I think it can stand alone as a picture. They may be warriors, but even warriors have homes and families, lives outside a melee. A male and female minotaur with an infant. Sire and dam team up to sing their youngling gently to sleep.
