The Dawn Watch of the Arluun

Dawn is coming, oh, dawn is nigh.
Day is waking, lighting o'er the sky.
Dark gives way to cold clear pale,
Shadows flee from hill and vale.
Stars have faded, the moon is gone,
And we watchers call out our song.

Halla-urr! Sing! The sun rises.
Urrioo! We sing! The sun comes.
Ya-hurr-eh! We welcome the morning.
Ehrr-ta-hey! We sing in the dawn.

Whether clear or rainy, in fog or snow,
Whether warm soft breezes or chill winds blow.
Our eyes will watch, our ears will hear.
Our horns will guard should danger near.
And every night shall pass away,
When we lift our voices at break of day.

Halla-urr! Sing! The sun rises.
Urrioo! We sing! The sun comes.
Ya-hurr-eh! We welcome the morning.
Ehrr-ta-hey! We sing in the dawn.

The mists impart their gift of dew.
Fire paints the sky in warmer hues.
Once grey clouds are limned in gold,
As the sun escapes the mountain's hold.
Another day we will herald in,
Guarding our lands, our clan, our kin.

Halla-urr! Sing! The sun has risen.
Urrioo! We sing! The sun has come.
Ya-hurr-eh! We welcome the morning.
Ehrr-ta-hey! We sing in the dawn.
